So Clive was living with Iuliia, Clive F, & David F at one point.

His DC from another relationship I'm guessing. Where is their mother?

I'd pay good money to hear her take on all this.

Decided to leave till paper tomorrow. Give the journos time to catch up with MN.

I'm seeking no a cross between - Death in Paradise, Man in a Canoe and only Fools and Horses.

I keep thinking death in paradise purely because of the location!!!

Makes me giggle every time!

RedToothBrush · 12/08/2023 16:49

Given that David is the first name that appears on records not Clive everything to suggest Clive is Dave rather than the converse.

Testina · 12/08/2023 16:50

Ooooooh, so - in someone’s blog about their mountain race back in 2015, they refer to Clive FP as the “darling of the FRA (or maybe not”. (FRA: Fell Runners Association?)
There’s a photo of him too, definitely him.

Some has posted a reply comment to the blogger which has been deleted and blogger comments on its deletion (it was obviously about Clive) and comments that “it’s a weird one” and Clive was banned by the FRA for a year, but maybe it’s not policeable or relevant to this Welsh race.

You know the typical holiday reading murder mystery books get at airports? Lisa Jewell type stuff. Always stuff about buried secrets.

“A storm rages, hurricane winds smash the boat against the waves, as a baby is born, a Child of the Sea. But when Iuliia arrives for her postnatal check up, administrators eye her with suspicion. Her husband’s brushed off argument with the running club 20 years ago long since forgotten… but are his secrets about to come tumbling out, and are they the key to an unexpected DNA result?”

Of course, the ban well turn out to be cos he forgot to register his new season membership in time 🤷🏻‍♀️ Oh Clive 🤦‍♀️

I love these cheesy easy read psychological thrillers and read my first Lisa Jewell last week. I read the whole thing in a day because I was gripped and have a few more lined up to order (I use a kindle) for my holiday next week.

I have read a lot of Shalini Boland previously and have one of hers downloaded ready to go.

They are gripping there's so much mystery that you just need to know what shit went down 🤣

Looking at the timing (2015), it might well be the car crash he was banned for. He was driving back from a race at the time, remember. “Unpoliceable” because he’s banned by the English FRA, but can still race in Welsh WFRA races like the one being discussed in the blog.

So people know he’s banned and are surprised to see him turning up to race, but he’s unrepentant and says the FRA can’t stop him. Again, paints a bit of a picture re: following rules, doesn’t it?

Testina · 12/08/2023 17:20

I wondered about that @Saschka but the crash was in July and this comment was in August, and it didn’t go to court until the following year. So I doubt there’d be any basis to ban him from running. Plus it didn’t sound like the other driver was seriously injured, so wouldn’t even be a new jerk reaction to a death by dangerous driving type incident. At the point of this commentary, he might well have made an unfortunate mistake because of bad road signage, as he claimed in court. Also, I know sports associations - they wouldn’t have banned him without months more committee meetings 🤣

So my money is on some other blatant disregard for rules.

Also, the newspaper report of the trial has his defence saying he lost his GB place due to injuries of that accident. I guess for a “punished enough” sob story? But the month after the accident he won the race that blogger was referring to, and he was seemingly on fire, way out in front.

So what’s the real reason he lost his place, huh? 😉 Lisa Jewell would know.

PriamFarrl · 12/08/2023 17:23

A quick question for the amazing private detectives on this thread. I got married outside the UK. I don’t recall ever having to prove my marriage to anyone. If someone were to search for me would my marriage show up? Or would it be assumed that because Miss Jane Smith living with Mr John Jones became Mrs Jane Jones that we married.

GenieGenealogy · 12/08/2023 17:23

It would depend where you were married. Some country indexes are widely available online, others are not.

RedToothBrush · 12/08/2023 17:25

Looking at the time line.

Dave and Yuliya are living together in 2014. They have a baby around this time. So are possibly married at this point. Then he becomes Clive 1 and gets a ban for driving. Then get pissed off with building bill and even more obsessed with Freeman of the Land stuff around 2016 and becomes Clive 2. And now he's claiming his wife's surname as Clive 3.

It's quite possible he
Married as Dave
Had daughter 1 as Clive 1. Got driving ban as Clive 1.
Gets Passport as Clive 2.
And is now rocking around as Clive 3 and wants to be on the birth certificate of daughter 2 as Clive 3.

Thus all his paperwork is wacko before you even get to the bits about her current nationality and where the baby was born and why they didn't turn up at the hospital within 24hrs.

And there they are wondering why there is a request for a DNA test

And the Consulate are going 'well how far along with your self made shit show are you now?'

LadyHester · 12/08/2023 17:32

He’s Clive Gurzhii in the Pendle Fell Race back in 2015 though.

If this is true I'm wondering why he changed his name to Clive!

I thought my life was complicated - with a surname containing spaces (with respective organisations taking either all of it or one half... whichever they fancy!) . And now having to change it to my married name.

Unlike Clive Fell-Runner-Bad-Driver however I'm shit hot on paperwork <3

@Testina probably the bad publicity - violates contracts with any sponsors.

And if he is the Clive who was married in 2003, there needs to be a divorce at some point. Or not, perhaps, given the apparently casual attitude to paperwork.

Dixiechickonhols · 12/08/2023 17:50

Loving all the updates.
The several different names - him, different name spellings - her and probably not legally married (I’m thinking some hippie none legally ceremony) now biting them on the bum is a very credible explanation.
Hope some press do run with it would love to know the actual story.

Dixiechickonhols · 12/08/2023 18:01

Other thing I picked up on from Clive’s court case was he was offered a plea deal to careless driving in the Magistrates court. But elected for crown court trial and was convicted of more serious charge of dangerous driving. The judge was scathing that he couldn’t imagine anyone in a million years failing to realise it was a dual carriageway which is very strong language for a judge. He was unanimously convicted so all jurors in agreement.
Obviously he was within his rights to elect for trial but in such a clear case your legal advisor will be advising you to plead guilty to lesser charge asap to get lightest sentence.
Again builds a picture of a bloke who pays no heed to advise.

Freemen of the land tend to belief that solicitors are part of the enemy establishment and therefore represent themselves in court.

If the press pick up this is definitely a story with a public interest element (even if it's just nosy people 🤣) they possibly will run with it.

They've printed some stories from some seemingly shit boring Mn threads before. They owe it to us to return the favour Grin

RedToothBrush · 12/08/2023 18:16

It's in the public interest to know if you are a dickhead who has multiple identities and avoid authority it's liable to bite you on the arse eventually. And don't expect Embassies to bail you out of your own mess.

Exactly or don’t listen to their solicitor or barrister’s advice.

I think selling the baby is the most likely story too.

The Caribbean seems like an odd place to sell a White baby with Eastern Europen heritage. Durley it eould make more sense to try and sell it to some dodgy Rusdian Oligarch or someone, and doing dome rubbish about wanting to give birth I her ' homeland' wherever that is. I suspect they did some dodgy surrogacy and are now trying to smuggle the baby home.
