Would you judge this?

I don't give a crap what people wear when they're walking their dogs.
Why should you.

Cloudsandrainnotsunandsand · 09/08/2023 13:57

No. Unless it's the ddog in the pj's...

vodkaredbullgirl · 09/08/2023 13:57

🤔no

RoseDog · 09/08/2023 13:58

No but sometimes I do nip out in my pjs with the dog, not a big long exercise type walk but a quick out for a pee and poo round the block type walk!

GeneJeanie · 09/08/2023 13:58

It depends. If it’s at 11pm down the alleyway and the last toilet opportunity for the dog, I wouldn’t think much of it. If it was 9am round the park then I would presume the dog walker was ill in some way.

HollieHobbie · 09/08/2023 13:59

I'd only judge if they didn't pick up the dog's poo. What they choose to wear for the walk is irrelevant.

Curseofthenation · 09/08/2023 14:01

I'd judge them. It's lazy and chavvy. Would I say anything? Obviously not.

It isn't something that would occupy my thoughts long enough to start a thread mind you.

Chevrotains · 09/08/2023 14:02

I always take my dog out near mine for the toilet (live in a flat) and I only wear pyjamas at home. The neighbour was a bit snarky today and it made me wonder if I am just being judged by them all Confused it is multiple times a day, in my pyjamas, but I do shift work, so I suppose to some it seems lazy to be out in my pyjamas at midday, but yeah... obviously don't when I'm taking him for a proper walk

No why would i care what other people are wearing

AgnesX · 09/08/2023 14:02

Undoubtedly loads here saying no but yes actually.....what is it with people these days.

SoShallINever · 09/08/2023 14:03

Why does it matter to you? I frequently wear my PJ'S to walk the dog, I wear black ones to avoid your judgement, but I really admire those who wear pepper pug ones to piss you off.

BiscuitsandPuffin · 09/08/2023 14:03

It takes 30 seconds to put some proper clothes on like a functioning adult.

NowItsSpring · 09/08/2023 14:03

I do this on holiday when our elderly dog wakes me wanting a wee - at home I would just let her out in the garden. Pop a hoodie or cagoule on too depenfingnon the weather.

Azaeleasinbloom · 09/08/2023 14:04

if I am in my pjs I am probably better dressed than what I choose to wear for a dog walk. But I would think the pj - wearer would be bloody cold right now in Scotland.

This ^
Personally pyjamas are for indoors and not for outdoors

AllOfThemWitches · 09/08/2023 14:05

I don't give a fuck what other people wear to walk their dog. As for 'chavvy,' what? What do you actually mean here?

KatherineSwynford1403 · 09/08/2023 14:05

I saw a woman get out of a Range Rover at the petrol station next to me, in pyjamas, slippers (fluffy slides with Aristocats on) and a fluffy belted dressing gown, about midday. This was Morrisons petrol station and I have seen her twice since then in the store, both times in pyjamas during the mid morning and in the daytime, I think she is lazy.

TeachesOfPeaches · 09/08/2023 14:08

I seen someone walking round the shops with their hair wrapped up in a towel. That was a first

Aye and the same time to feel superior to someone else. Live and let live. Who cares?

ReluctantFishLady · 09/08/2023 14:09

I'd think it a bit odd. Pyjamas in the day time has a sort of escaped from an asylum vibe to it.

It's not as if you are being caught unawares. You know you will be taking the dog out so why change into pyjamas? There is plenty of other suitable leisurewear to choose from.

Go to Liverpool and you will see them out wearing curlers in their hair.

Badbudgeter · 09/08/2023 14:10

I walk the dog in my pjs all the time. My morning routine is roll out of bed, toilet , coat and trainers and out on a dog walk.

I wear plain black jersey bottoms and a black t shirt to sleep in though so hopefully not obvious.

I wouldn’t judge though. Not sure why anyone would care.

JamSandle · 09/08/2023 14:11

No. Who knows what else they're juggling. Plus they still took the dog out.

blobby10 · 09/08/2023 14:13

Depends on the pyjamas surely? Long legged bottoms with t shirt style top and who would know? white broderie anglaise nightie with ribbons yes it would look a bit weird! Babydoll nightie and frilly pants? Def weird. Grin What do you wear on your feet? Wellies? Trainers? Fluffy mules? I used to rock the wellies and pj look on camping holidays for those late night toilet visits with kids Grin
