To take all the reduced meat?

So last night around 6pm I went to the supermarket and specifically went for the 90% off bargains
I went to the main reduced fridge (after waiting for 15 mins for them to reduce ) and got 2 packs of roast potatoes 33p each ,3 packs of bbq chicken legs for 46p each
pork kebabs for 44p each
Then normally 15 mins later they bring down the reduced meat that day.
There was about 5 people waiting around and I seen the butcher fill his green tub up with the meat and leave it on the counter
So I walk up (everyone was just waiting by the reduced fridge and didn't see what he had done )
I walk up and got 2 steaks 59p each
A beef joint for £1.03p
A pork joint for 43p
Two chickens 38p each and 4 packs of burgers 26p each.
Would you have done the same ?
Or left some for someone else
My freezer is now full for the month and that came to well under £6/£7

No, I wouldn't have taken everything, I'd leave something for anyone else that needs a bargain.

Yeah - that was pretty selfish. I would definitely have left some for 5 other people.

I only go once every month to stock up
I'm not sure anyone else would of left anything

There was plenty of fish left and lamb etc
I just took things I knew we would eat

You should’ve left some for the others and had one of each thing. I got some salmon fillets for 20p. There were loads but I took 2 packs. Left the rest for whoever.

That was really greedy. You took over a dozen meat items when there were others also waiting. If it were me,I would have taken 1 of each type of meat and been very happy. Around here I never see anything discounted by more than 30%.

I would have left some. Assuming this is not a reverse you sound goady, greedy and mean spirited.

Clearly they would if the replies on this thread are anything to go by. But also, if you only go once a month, how would you have felt if someone else had done that to you? Maybe some of the others waiting don't go every day either.

Must be in a supermarket I've never been in. Don't see reductions that low these days

Depending on how many pork kebab packages she very well could have. Because she took 13 packages of meat excluding those.

She took more than she could eat before the use by date. If she’s genuinely struggling, fine. If she just thinks she’s being smart, not so fine

I aasumed pork kebabs were in different section since they were not in butcher's list.
