Well just that really….I have gay, straight, bi sexual and transsexual friends and absolutely have no problem with that, very much a do what makes you happy person.

Butttt….AIBU to think the world is going a bit mad with all the non-female, cis female and whatever other labels are floating about. I’m a woman and that’s that, you are either biologically a male or biologically a female and I don’t mean that in an insensitive way dress how you like and date who you like but surely we can’t just be inventing different/new sexes and telling straight women they are no longer a woman they are now XYZ?

Because Joe Blogs in HR is a virtue signalling try hard? Just a guess.

Sex and gender are different. Joe Bloggs is welcome to tell you how he identifies, if he wishes, but he shouldn't "have to". See the extract below which clearly shows that people should not be compelled to state their pronouns:-

"Yogyaharta Principle 6(f) (The Right to Privacy) states,
Ensure the right of all persons ordinarily to choose when, to whom and how to disclose information pertaining to their sexual orientation or gender identity, and protect all persons from arbitrary or unwanted disclosure, or threat of disclosure of such information by others."

Employers need to both avoid discrimination against people because of gender-critical beliefs and also avoid discrimination on the basis of gender reassignment.

On a serious note, I have read reports of TW in care homes, suffering from dementia, who are now very upset at being treated as their cc="preferred gender" rather than their born sex - and the staff aren't allowed to call "Stacy", "George" despite it being his given name, and him becoming very distressed, because "identity".

When your marbles start to get a bit loose, and you can't cope with the cognitive dissonance any more, and the lie is too hard to maintain, your body knows EXACTLY what sex you are.
