Made in Chelsea blokes - twins via surrogate

More “celebs” commissioning a woman’s body to buy a baby.

When is this going to be made illegal 😡

And twins again. So many of them have twins. I think I get a bit triggered by this especially as I have twins and know how dangerous twin pregnancy can be for both mother and babies. And what it does to a woman’s body. No one could consent to this.

Had to switch off Giovanna Fletcher and her simpering podcast when they started talking about “their” miscarriages. Horrific amounts of bleeding, pain and horrendous wrenching emotional pain for you was it mates? No, didn’t think so.

I only hope that Ayda Williams didn't use a surrogate for their last child because her and Robbie weren't having much sex.

Heterosexual or homosexual the whole surrogacy thing is deplorable.

LongAway · 27/04/2023 15:54

The whole phobe thing is rediclious when it comes to surrogacy. I thought Sarah Jessica was as bad as Kim Kardashia (though there are rumours about Kanye) too.

All people think about are sob stories from people who aren't going to even make the best parents, as all they think about is themselves, who induce illness into newborn babies. They are users, they aren't nice people no matter how they manipulate people to justify it.

Comby · 27/04/2023 17:25

Surrogacy pieces always focus on the intended parents, occasionally on the surrogate and never on the baby. There are very few balanced pieces in the MSM. Everyone seems to forget laws changed because adoptees and donor-conceived children grew up and demanded legislation reflect their actual experiences, not the ones adults assumed they'd have.

Re alleged homophobia. I don't see how it's bigoted for anyone to worry that many of these children might well resent not only being deprived of a mother but being raised outside of a traditional set up. It's assumed, again, by adults that it'll make no difference to children. Read some 'modern' books to help them along and all will be well! I'm sorry, but that is naive beyond belief.

Us who worry about surrogacy are actually not preoccupied with the adults, including gay men and whether they can parent well (I'm sure they can), but what the child might want. It's their life FFS.

What's horrendous about it is it's a situation that never needed to arise. It's not like adoption where adults (usually) try to make the best of a bad situation for a child, this is a contract between adults, produce the child and exchange. That disturbs many people, it's not those Mumsnetters being Mumsnetty. Whenever MSM sites have the balls to leave comments unmoderated there's not a lot of gushing by the broader public either !

Due to the brain damage inflicted at birth and being brought up by narcs, I think you will have the Jazz Jennings type situation, where the abused child won't even realise.

I really doubt it, you have to go through IVF which is much harder than having sex

They harvest and fertilise then hold on ice many babies at once, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton spoke about it.

Yes and it’s still a horrendously invasive process if you can easily just have sex instead. And they’ve spoken publicly about their fertility issues.
