Mumsnet is toxic

Is it just me who feels like mumsnet is full of people trying to shame others and show off about themselves? I rarely feel good about the things I read on here and think it's almost as bad as social media.

Yep. I feel like this year it’s worse than ever. Too many threads ruined by people picking things apart. No room for nuances. An air of “nur nicky nur nur” from a lot of grown women. It’s making me think what’s the point in friendship if everyone’s secretly like this underneath.

Reddit is refreshing. Real answers and the only derailment is goofy wordplay jokes.
