'Queen' Camilla

Replitad · 04/04/2023 23:12

I wouldn't have called myself a republican before now but I think the 'Queen' Camilla thing has tipped me over the edge.

Pretty audacious considering their history and I think a lot of the public won't agree. I certainly won't be celebrating or even watching coronation.

I mean, the man has said enough actual twatty things to lambast him for over the years without the need to totally misrepresent that one.

Exactly - especially a private conversation!

CremeEggQueen · 09/04/2023 23:26

I don’t give private information away on MN
Which is fair enough and completely understandable, which is why I then said a decade as from your posts doesnt sound like you're old enough to have been around then

Source?

He was 'friendly' with Jimmy Saville, not 'good friends'. Saville did not actually have close friends, people like him rarely do, but they deliberately cultivate a friendly relationship with prominent people.

Saville was 'friendly' and gave advice to many, including Margaret Thatcher. Lots of people liked him. When I was 16-18 I was at school with a girl in the 1960s who knew him well and adored him! People forget how popular the man was.

The tampon conversation

'Queen' Camilla
AskMeMore · 10/04/2023 02:46

@lbf Charles wrote in a note to Jimmy Saville how much he valued their close friendship

MissingMoominMamma · 10/04/2023 07:32

That’s the sort of thing you’d write to someone who advised you, rather than an actual mate.

Nobody knew what Saville was really like- that’s how he got away with it for so long.

Normal people couldn’t even imagine that level of depravity.

Possiblynotever · 10/04/2023 09:05

Thanks to who reposted the tragic sexy conversation between Charles and Camilla.
Yep, it does say several times "in and out" and then mentiones a tampax, which led us all to believe that he wanted to be her tampax. No, he just wanted to be in and out of her and (universal karma) "his luck" would have made him reincarnate into a Tampax with the necessary flushing.
Please, do not start flushing tampax down loos as it clogs them..

I couldn't give a flying fuck about them.

My sentiments exactly 😆

dinkytoon · 10/04/2023 12:17

Mooshamoo · 09/04/2023 22:26

Really? A quick Google search tells me these three things.

Prince Charles constantly asked Jimmy Saville for advice, and Charles called him a trusted advisor.

Prince Charles asked Jimmy Saville to interview his private secretary (Christopher airy) for him. He trusted Jimmy Saville as a good judge of character.

Jimmy Saville had unlimited access to the palaces that Prince Charles used.

Charles and Jimmy were close.

Jimmy Savile Takes Young Girl To Prince Philip.

Everything Savile ever said seems creepy and dirty now and full of double meaning.

Actually some did, and for reasons of their own chose not to say much at the time - or more likely wouldn't have been listened to - and being a member of the RF Charles would have had access to better information than most

It's true though that Savile was never convicted of anything, but bishop Peter Ball certainly was, and even after that Charles was writing to him about "the monstrous wrongs done to you", offering to "see off" the victim "if he gets up to any more of his dastardly tricks" and supplying him with a house - something which the IICSA later officially criticised him for

Strange really that so many focus on Andrew and not this, but then that's doubtless quite convenient for Charles ...

belikejeff · 10/04/2023 12:49

Not a fan of the royals but find myself quite liking Camilla.

Their love story is real and not just for appearances. Let her be called Queen.

Mooshamoo · 10/04/2023 12:51

That the words "god forbid I'll come back as a Tampax" even came out of Charles mouth, shows a bizarre mind.

Most of us don't talk about being reincarnated as a Tampax. 😂

Why on Earth would you take that as ‘I want to be your tampax’?? He said nothing like it! Just desperation from posters who don’t want to admit they’re wrong.

Anyway it’s a private conversation and a bit weird we are all picking it apart.

So you never had a silly joke between you and a loved one that might sound strange to others? Says more about you TBH than anyone else.

He DOES say it. You're in denial. And you are only referring to part of the conversation.

Late on in the conversation , Camilla says

"Well you could come back as a box of tampons then. So you could keep going."

Charles says "that's true".

YetMoreNewBeginnings · 10/04/2023 14:29

He’s saying the opposite of wanting to be a tampon…

That it would be his bad luck.

it’s a cringey enough chat without deliberately twisting what he said to make it weirder.

BillLius · 10/04/2023 14:32

TheObstinateHeadstrongGirl · 09/04/2023 23:10

@BillLius is bizarrely claiming Queen Camilla contracted crabs. No idea why - either that poster is a weirdo, a twat or jealous. Or all. very strange indeed

No I didn’t, but your reply shows how you twist facts. I said that BY YOUR LOGIC which translates as your logic is warped.

I'm not twisting it. You are not referencing the whole conversation , you are only talking about one segment. At the start he says he wouldn't like to be a tampax. But further on in the conversation he changes his mind and agrees with Camilla that is a good idea to come back as a box of Tampax.

Further on in the conversation Camilla says

"Well you could come back as a box of Tampax so you can keep going".

Charles agrees with her and says "true"

Mooshamoo · 10/04/2023 14:34

It's a bizarre conversation. Even writing it out is unbelievable. I don't want to think about Charles and tampons again. It's disgusting.

BillLius · 10/04/2023 14:36

Show me where I say Camilla had crabs.

Opinionsinteresting2me · 09/04/2023 12:55

The question on here is whether we are happy to call Camilla Queen and I for one am not. Why marry PB when she could have married Charles at the time? Why wreck someone else's marriage once they had married Charles. Why did Charles and Camilla lie when they married after Diana was killed (could they have married if Diana was still alive?) and say Camilla would not be known as Queen? C&C have schemed and lied all through for their own purposes.

They didn't lie. That issue has been done to death. They expressed an intention. Guess what, people's intentions change over time.

GOW56 · 10/04/2023 14:37

It's nit something that concerns me but if course her title would be queen why not?
All through history if there was a king his wife was Queen.
I don't understand why people would think otherwise

thats talking about the not flushing away and being stuck in the toilet bowl going round and round.

And still no wanting mentioned at all. Just “true”

I mean if you’re twisting that into wanting then it’s Camilla that wants him to be a tampon…

Rosula · 10/04/2023 14:51

FFS, the whole tampon thing is one stupid private conversation. I suspect all of us have had idiotic private conversations which are so trivial we've forgotten all about them, but which would make us cringe to the depth of our beings if they were published the world over. Would you really think it fair if you were to be publicly condemned forever as a result of what you said in one of those private chats?
