'Queen' Camilla

Replitad · 04/04/2023 23:12

I wouldn't have called myself a republican before now but I think the 'Queen' Camilla thing has tipped me over the edge.

Pretty audacious considering their history and I think a lot of the public won't agree. I certainly won't be celebrating or even watching coronation.

Does it really affect you in any way? Do any of them DESERVE to be where they are? Have any of them actually earned the bowing and flag waving and women in tears at the sight of them? Camilla is just as undeserving as the rest of that spoiled family.

I think if you decide to accept that some individuals are deserving of your adulation, your humility and of being kept at your expense in a lifestyle of untold wealth and privilege; you must at some level have decided they are better than you. That they have some inate superiority that merits the bowing, scraping and fawning. When something happens that clearly indicates these people are flawed, like an affair, it must cause a severe conflict. Scapegoating one individual, in this case Camilla, enables the ongoing cognitive dissonance required to elevate one wealthy, privileged otherwise unremarkable, flawed man to one deserving of service and subjection.

I wouldn't touch a home made cake by a cheating skank, old fat tanpon fingers could be so potentially full of lust they would crack one out and not wash their hands and put STIs in the food. That's how I look at cheats, along with wasting taxpayers money.

I think it speaks volumes about the woman who would love to style herself as “Queen”. Too bad for her, the facts speak for themselves. We’ve all seen who she is.

In my generous moments, I do feel a little bit sorry for her. Imagine forever being compared to Princess Diana, knowing you’ll always come up short.

I doubt it! What exactly does she come up short with? Or are we just basing it on looks and the ridiculous title of 'peoples Princess'?!

Diana was absolutely stunningly beautiful. Charles never was.
Men all over the world thought Diana was stunning.
It's interesting that charles didn't appreciate Diana and seemed to actively dislike Diana isn't it.

Talk about the worst man that Diana could have ended up with.

I remember Michael Jackson said that he met Diana and Charles. Michael said that he thought Diana was breath takingly beautiful, and he thought that she was nice and kind. Michael said he could tell from the meeting that Charles didn't love Diana. He said he thought it was sad.

I do think it is sad that when thousands of men all over the world admired Diana, she was stuck with the one man that didn't care about her. It is sad.

She deserved a man that loved her.

Ugh. I really don't like Camilla.

I remember Diana said once how she didn't understand how she was losing out to a chain smoking, foul mouthed older woman.

Camilla is a fag ash lil.

You 'remember' Diana saying that?

Or you read that Diana said that?

As for the 'older', Camilla and Charles are the same age. And Diana would be an 'older woman' too if she were alive today. Are youth and good looks the only thing valuable about a woman?

IcedPurple · 05/04/2023 14:32

Men all over the world thought Diana was stunning.

That settles it then.

If men fancied Diana and didn't fancy Camilla, then obviously Diana was superior.

Sorry, that's how I look at skanky cheats, grabbing genitals and orgasims at any chance they get, because they can't control themselves and as lacking in general hygiene standards. STIs are why many people don't go at it like rabbits with multiple people, I genuinely think that these people lack a disgut instinct others have to protect themselves. If you are skanky in the bedroom you will be skanky in the kitchen.

They should have just let him marry her in the beginning and all this could have been avoided. I'm glad she is just Queen now Queen Consort just sounded silly and as much as we all love out elderly parents we don't have to carry on appeasing them after they have passed away.

Queen consort is what she is, even if it sounds silly to you. The Queen Mother was also queen consort before her husband died. Elizabeth II was queen regnant, as was Victoria.

kierenthecommunity · 05/04/2023 14:38

Diana was absolutely stunningly beautiful

I mean, I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, but she was moderately attractive at best. She had a nice smile and eyes I think, a great figure too, but her face was rather long and horsey. Bit like William.

I don’t think she’d turn many heads if she was just Ms Spencer on a suburban estate.

But Michael Jackson apparently thought she was a stunner so that's all that counts. He had excellent judgement, Jacko.

I'm not saying that Diana was superior.

I'm saying that , when men all over the world admired and fancied her, I think it is really sad that she ended up with a man that didn't care about her in the slightest. She deserved a happy marriage in her short life with a man that treated her well. And she didn't get it.

Michael Jackson said he only met Charles once , and in that one meeting he could feel the dislike and lack of love that Charles had for Diana.

Well that would indicate that Diana was shallow and vacuous, thinking only looks and youth matter 🤔

Own goal.

Mooshamoo · 05/04/2023 14:45

All men think that Diana was a stunner. I remember several male friends saying to me that they thought Diana was absolutely beautiful. And that they thought that Camilla was really ugly.

Even Prince Phillip said it in a letter to Diana! He wrote "I can't understand why Charles would choose Camilla over you".

Looks are not everything. But men definitely thought that Diana was beautiful

I think a lot of people thought it was shocking that Charles would choose Camilla over Diana. I remember my male friend looking at a picture of Camilla and saying "I just can't see what Charles sees in her, she is absolutely awful"

It just goes to show that looks aren't everything.

Quinoawoman · 05/04/2023 14:48

When you look at the history and behaviois of most English monarchs through history, it's pretty revolting. I'm surprised it's taken an affair, divorce and remarriage to make you a republican compared to what Henry VIII did.

Personally I have always been fascinated by the royals, but if it's a choice between them or a fit-for-purpose NHS, I choose the NHS.

This thread has so many objectionable posts, it is really depressing. The ageism and sexism is shocking, but it seems more and more prevalent on MN of late.

You don't know them.

Posts like these are cringy and creepy.

I am asking whether the King, as head of the Church, and his Queen will have any say on the morals and on what the Church of England preaches. I find it interesting that a man and a woman who have caused so much pain to a family can head a Church. Moreover, considering that Charles was well in his thirties when he married.
Saying that Kings have always had mistresses is loaded with hypocrisy ... and I do not think he is fit to head a Church.

Her role is Queen Consort but she will be called Queen Camilla. Just as Prince Philip was the Prince Consort and the Queen Mother was Queen Elizabeth and Queen Alexandra was.

I just want to add that another reason I think cheats are selfish and skanky is because I had a house share with one. She would say things like she loves the idea of not washing after sex with her married man and smelling it each time she went to the toilet staying it felt like he was still there with her, so as she went to the toilet it was a turn on. I left that house as soon as I could, she never washed up or cleaned anywhere, you wouldn't think it to look at her as on the surface she seemed standard underneath she was dirty in mind and body.

Fat tampon fingers seems similar having listened to that leaked tape years ago.

Schmutter · 05/04/2023 15:00

I think Diana was extremely photogenic, rather than ‘stunningly beautiful’. She was actually rather plain, like her 2 sisters and brother, before she became royal and had the benefit of a glam squad.

Anyway, back to actual alive people. I’m glad Camilla gets to be queen without it being somewhat diminished by adding ‘consort’. She deserves it just as any other king’s wife before her.
