'Queen' Camilla

Replitad · 04/04/2023 23:12

I wouldn't have called myself a republican before now but I think the 'Queen' Camilla thing has tipped me over the edge.

Pretty audacious considering their history and I think a lot of the public won't agree. I certainly won't be celebrating or even watching coronation.

You're stubbornly sticking to what you think the debate is and rudely refuse to discuss opinion

Did I?!

Happy to debate anything, but not facts - the fact is that QE2 very publicly have her blessing for Camilla to be styled as Queen and I find it perplexing people are saying she didn’t.

What have I refused to debate on exactly?!

I can’t believe people still believe there was some sort of plot to bump off (the paranoid and unstable) Diana.

It was a bloody masterpiece if there was one. I wonder how they managed to persuade that driver to get bladdered before driving the car at high speed? Maybe he told Diana not to bother with a seatbelt too 🤔

If Charles is king, Camilla is queen. As all the female consorts before her.

Diana said to a lawyer that she believed that people would kill her in a car crash. He took professional notes of this meeting. He is a respectable , professional man.

Diana then died in a car crash.

That doesn't make you question anything , even in the slightest bit?

Let's look at it using another woman as an exmaple. If my friend said to me , "my husband is having an affair, im really worried that my husband is going to plan a car crash for me, as he wants me out of the way

"and then my friend actually died in a car crash in the next year. It would certainly make me sit up and look at what was going on.

You're so arrogant and histrionic that you fail to see when you massively contradict yourself and look less than smart.

You're stubbornly sticking to what you think the debate is and rudely refuse to discuss opinion

If others had acted your way and stuck to your titles are fixed line, we never would have had Queen Liz 1 or 2 and the rules about titles wouldn't have been changed for first born girls to be monarch as happened when Kate was pregnant

You don't get to set the rules of a debate and yell at everyone for not sticking to your rules.

People want to discuss if the titles are right. Screaming about rules again and again and again like you have adds nothing. We've heard you. Many times

I think you mean some other poster - I haven’t ‘screamed about rules’ I’ve just stated facts that people may not know. Such as a Queen Consort is styled as Queen First Name and Charles’s marriage is recognised by the CofE based on their own rules formulated long before he was even born.

And Diana, bluntly, was a silly, irrational person with some dementedly woo beliefs, who made large numbers of remarkably poor decisions — not surprisingly, given her own deeply dysfunctional upbringing, lack of education, disastrously unwise marriage entered into very young, dysfunctional ILs and gilded cage. I mean, I wouldn’t see her paranoia as based on anything concrete.

I agree with this and find the whole fawning and taking every word as gospel to be extremely odd. The woman who said “there was three of us I this marriage” - yeah and the rest love (who she was sleeping with). She was clearly unhinged and I like to think she’d have got help had she been Princess today. Her second born clearly takes after her in terms of drama, whining and delusion.

Did anyone listen to the audio tape where diana talks about Diana confronting Camilla?

Diana said something to camilla like " I know what you two are doing. Dont play me for a fool".

And camilla was angry and said "what are you angry about Diana. You've got everything. You've got two sons. And the world loves you. What more could you want".

And Diana said " I want my husband".

Why weren't Camillas children enough for her?

Camilla will never know what it's like to be loved by so many.

Princess Diana said to several different people that she believed that Charles was planning a car crash for her.

Paul burrell , her butler, said she told him this and wrote a note about this to him.

Another even more credible account. One of her legal advisors says that she also told him that they were planning a car crash for her.

Then you’d think she’d wear a seatbelt wouldn’t you.

She was unhinged andiked to embellish and twist things to go her way.

And no o don’t think Charles ordered the killing of the mother of his children

But she IS Queen.

Not on the same way QE2 was Queen, but it is her title

Isn't calling some one "unhinged " extremely disrespectful to people who suffer from mental illness.?

Many many people suffer from anxiety and deoression. I woukd say those people are suffering , not "unhinged"

I should think she's profoundly grateful not to be the subject of that somewhat unhinged idolisation that there was around Diana.

I'm pretty sure that that story was what Diana wished had happened, and bore little resemblance to the truth.

SimplyAverage · 05/04/2023 09:48

Phoebo · 05/04/2023 04:04

I agree. Diana also seemed extremely unhinged! They clearly weren't compatible I don't see how anyone can't see that

Diana was an abused teenager and very young mother, many have their first child at the age she died, abuse can often make the victim look bad especially if a team of expert PR are involved manipulating a young woman.

TheObstinateHeadstrongGirl · 05/04/2023 09:49

Mooshamoo · 05/04/2023 09:35

"Diana was a silly irrational person".

Do you know there are several people that have said that , in order to rehabilitate Charles image, Charles's friends started a media campaign agains diana. The campaigns main aim was to make Diana look unstable, mentally ill and unbalanced.

It worked.

That is why you often see people on here now describing Diana as mentally unwell, as unhinged, irrational , unbalanced.

The media campaign by Charles friends to make Diana look like this, worked.

I’m old enough to have been around in the days of the end of their marriage and I assure you she very much dig her own grave in looking crazy and delusional. Very little input from Charles needed. Even watching the Martin Bashir documentary, where she aired dirty laundry from her marriage knowing her children would be affected by it, she comes across as SO unhinged.

Amispringy · 05/04/2023 09:49

Mooshamoo · 05/04/2023 00:09

We have looked at Camilla and Charles for so long that they have kind of become normal.

Lets look at it as if it was happening in another country.

Say the king of Spain was married.
The king had an affair with a woman behind his wife's back for many years.
His first wife died tragically.
The king then goes on the marry the woman he had an affair with, and expects the public to accept her as queen. I honestly think there would be protests in Spain.

Camilla is not popular. I've heard a lot of anti Camilla sentiment lately.

A lot of people are not happy about her being queen.

Yes but the unhappy people who obsess over events of 40+years ago tend to be the ones most people avoid.

Long love Queen Camilla

Respectable, professional lawyers regularly take notes of what their clients tell them. It doesn't meant that what their clients say bears any relationship whatsoever to the truth. What is notable is that no-one has ever suggested that Diana produced any evidence for this piece of paranoia.

If Charles or anyone else had been planning to kill Diana in a car crash, there is no way that they would have engineered it via an accident that would have been perfectly survivable by the simple expedient of wearing a seat belt, nor would they have arranged it in a foreign country where they had no influence or control over either the health authorities or the police.

Mooshamoo · 05/04/2023 09:52

That word unhinged is being said a lot here about Diana. That is so sad.

As I said, numerous sources have said that In order to rehabilitate Charles image, Charles friends started a media campaign. The main aim of the campaign was to make Diana look mentally unwell, unhinged, paranoid and unstable.

It is because of this media campaign by charles friends, that you now see Diana described as unhinged

Almost the first thing you see people say about Diana on here is that she was paranoid, unstable, unhinged mentally unwell.

That image of her was fed to you by Charles's friends. They sure did a thorough job in shattering her image.

The very definition of being gaslit - the BRF and the Establishment did their work 'brilliantly' once could surmise, broke and totally destroyed her to protect the line of inheritance.

Charles also filmed a documentary around this time , where he admitted adultery.

Have you forgotten that one? He did the exact same action as Diana.

Is he unhinged aswell so?

I really don't get why people can't get over an affair that had nothing to do with them after 20+ years. Diana had her fair share to but she is turned into some sort of Saint who was perfect and pure. The reality is it was a marriage match that should never have been. She was a traumatised young adult who was suffering silently in her mental health and he was being pushed into marrying and denied the woman he wanted to marry. it was a recipe for disaster but people need to get over it.

No I don't get over affairs.

I as a taxpayer am funding the fall out of selfishness from affairs. They spread misery, look at the state of Harry, these things don't move on they hang around. Harry has cost the UK extra security issues, his court cases that we end up paying for.

Standard families you get multiple members be they children or wives cheated on requiring support at the taxpayers expense. STI tests and treatment, court cases, benefits, child support department, mental health treatment medication to deal with the cruelty, betrayal and gaslighting abuse, council tax benefit, child tax credit, working tax credit, housing benefit

The already stretched taxpayers have to fund this because people decide they will financially abuse and gaslight the mother of their children along with a willing woman.

People are idiots for having anything to do with affair duos, they thieve from you and sabotage you as they do their family via taxation and will sabotage you in your private life of you retain any kind of relationship with them as they are selfish and destructive people by nature.

As we have bad politicians we have bad monarchs, this one will not be on the throne long.
