Ok ok!! I know IABU. It’s none of my business. But LOOK AT WHAT HE’S DONE!!

I think in the ‘business’ it’s called ‘doing a Zak Efron’.

Looks like:

Nose job.
Blepheroplasty.
Botox to the jaw.. or filler or implants around there.
Buccal fat removal.

Jesus he fucked his face up.

It's a pap shot, there will be hundreds from different angles...one picture doesn't really say anything. It's not completely drastic, but honestly, does it offend or worry anyone that doesn't know him? He might be mortified thinking he looks horrible now. I'm assuming tabloids will pick up he's looking different. I'd be so mortified as a woman if I was ripped to shreds about my looks and speculation about what surgery I'd had done. I don't know him, but I don't know that he was an arsehole before, so he's probably not now 🤔

It’s not a pap shot, he’s in the photo call area at a film premiere. He’ll have been styled, prepped and is probably wearing make up. He’ll have stood and posed knowing what his face looked like.

BillyDeanisnotmylover · 20/03/2023 23:59

Crazyducklady · 20/03/2023 20:58

Exactly.
Why anyone’s face has any bearings on anything is beyond me.

No one has to comment. But some people want to. I personally find it interesting and concerning. I’m interested in the possible reasons someone would do this to themselves. I’m concerned that this is becoming normal, even expected, for the younger generation and having children myself, I want to be aware of what’s going on.
So you don’t have to comment if you don’t want to, but there’s no need to berate others for doing so.

NewIdeasToday · 20/03/2023 19:42

He has had a really tough time lately. The last thing he needs is mean comments like these. We should all be a bit more aware of the possible impact of unkind comments on people who may already be facing difficulties.

I get what you're saying but I highly doubt he's browsing mumsnet reading these comments

RobertaFirmino · 21/03/2023 00:01

I don't care what he looks like, it's not important. Is he clean, does he feel happy in himself and does he have good manners? These things are far more important than buccal fat.

CremeEggQueen · 21/03/2023 00:07

Fairymights · 20/03/2023 19:46

I'm in no position to comment on someone else's looks, appearance, style.

I'm pretty sure no one else is either tbh.
No ones business but his own.

This, and same

LikeTearsInRain · 21/03/2023 00:10

Nasty thread. Nasty posters.

BloomForever · 21/03/2023 00:57

@AngeloMysterioso my mistake, it's not a pap shot with lots of angles, but a photo call on the red carpet at a premier, which paparazzi certainly don't obtain pictures from, and every picture must have been taken at the same angle.
I'm assuming he's stood in the queue like all the other celebrities for his turn, maybe he got fast passed through if he's super famous and spent a minute on the red carpet. Who knows?!
live and let live I say, he's not doing any harm.

BloomForever · 21/03/2023 00:59

@Fairymights 100% agree.

2pence · 21/03/2023 01:19

When your looks are your living then you do what you can to prolong it.

Plastic Surgery is hardly a new trend. Marilyn Monroe had a nose job and various eye work to tone her look. Joan Crawford had her back teeth removed to accentuate her cheekbones. Later, in the seventies, Joan Collins was famous for her facelifts.

He looks fine. He's not destroyed his face like Michael Jackson has he?

Ultimately, his face, his choice.

JaneJeffer · 21/03/2023 01:23

Is it just an optical illusion using his facial hair?!

AnythingToSay · 21/03/2023 01:51

Vanity surgery should be banned.

I’m not sure what constitutes a more grown up discussion than talking about plastic surgery. It’s not something children can have done, after all.

Horrible thread. Grow up.

I think it’s horrible that this is normalised and celebrated in modern culture.
I think the pressure this creates on normal teens and young people is horrible.

Tralahlah · 21/03/2023 07:22

He had a lovely face before. Hope he is ok. The eye lid lift reminds me of Renée Zellweger's....it really changed her whole look.

georgarina · 21/03/2023 07:29

one of the most idolised people in the world
😂

NooNakedJacuzziness · 21/03/2023 07:47

@DerekFaker - that clip is very interesting. I hope surgeons are explaining to people who have this done that it's not reversible.

I very much doubt he queued since it's his former bandmates film!

It is not. There’s evidence of it dating back to 6th century B.C India involving replacing noses after they had been taken off as punishments of crimes such as adultery. Plastic surgery didn’t really take off until til the early 20th century.

Doing a Zac Efron? You mean get in an accident that shattered his lower jaw and nearly die? YABU.

Yeah right an accident! Wake up!

QuintanaRoo · 21/03/2023 09:57

I’ve always hated the fact on xfactor one of the first things Simon Cowell does before the live shows is ship all the finalists off for veneers. It puts a really negative, horrible message to them (and viewers) that this is what you need to look like for success. The pressure in the entertainment industry to look perfect must be awful and it flters down to non celebs.

ISpyCobraKai · 21/03/2023 11:23

Does he?
