Ok ok!! I know IABU. It’s none of my business. But LOOK AT WHAT HE’S DONE!!

I think in the ‘business’ it’s called ‘doing a Zak Efron’.

Robbie Rotten or Sportacus?

👏 👏

Honestly - I do think it’s important to point out that this is weird behaviour. Otherwise plastic surgery becomes normalised along with all the issues it brings.

You 'pointed it out' by starting a sneery thread though.

You could have started one saying you find it sad so many celebrities have plastic surgery that drastically alters their appearance.

But you just took the piss with quite a nasty tone 🤷🏻‍♀️

Summerbubbles · 20/03/2023 20:31

I just think it's a shame that even one of the most idolised people in the world still think that changing their face is the route to happiness.

whirlyhead · 20/03/2023 20:32

I have no idea who he is. Also, which is the before and which is the after picture?? Can’t see much difference to be honest.

3luckystars · 20/03/2023 20:33

His eyes are still the same, I would know him. I hope he is alright, I would not be cut out for public life, it must be so hard.

pictoosh · 20/03/2023 20:33

What a shame. He was much more attractive before.

jemimapuddlepluck · 20/03/2023 20:34

Don't care what anyone does to their face/bodies. Up to them BUT what is it with the buccal fat removal thats so fashionable at the moment 😱 it looks awful.

Iudncuewbccgrcb · 20/03/2023 20:35

He looks like Michael Jackson!

I'm not sure why people shouldn't discuss it? surely there is conversation to be had around why people in the public eye feel the need to do this stuff & the wider societal implications.

Could that discussion not remain generalised? No one person needs to be singled out for that to be had. Do you think that this conversation focussing on him makes him happier or more insecure?

I think you can be aghast at the same time as being concerned at the knock on effect.

The two aren’t mutually exclusive.

I think if you're going to discuss it, you need to be able to give some examples.

ISpyCobraKai · 20/03/2023 20:39

Oh but he was lovely showing up to the Premiere of Louis' film.
I'm seeing it on Wednesday and am v excited.

I don't think Liam's in a very good place atm, and hope he has support, it can't be easy going from 1D to nothing, especially seeing Harry's current success.

Pocketfullofdogtreats · 20/03/2023 20:40

I don't think it's an improvement.

Stingy

Iudncuewbccgrcb · 20/03/2023 20:42

I'm not a huge One Direction fan being old enough to be their much older sister/ young auntie but I've been vaguely aware of the progress of their career and Liam has always struck me as the one that really stood out as being very uncomfortable in his own skin and a bit lost/vulnerable.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe · 20/03/2023 20:42

Goodness me, OP, own your spite can't you? You want to discuss a real person's face and get others to agree with you, adding their own bile for preference.

I'm so glad that other posters have pulled you up. Your subsequent posts are making you look really silly and inauthentic with your follow-up claims of 'concern'.

Jellykat · 20/03/2023 20:42

Thats such a shame, he looked lovely before but now.. very sad

newroundhere · 20/03/2023 20:43

He looks like Spike off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer!

I don't. We have all seen examples of celebrities going too far.

catsinwater · 20/03/2023 20:44

all the people who get their cheek fat removed will regret it in a couple of years. looks awful!! completely unnecessary.

AllOfThemWitches · 20/03/2023 20:45

The press are culpable with this talking about people's natural beauty when they might be make-up free, but they still have had work done.

The press are absolutely brutal. Have you seen those articles with headlines like 'Katie Price stuns in tracksuit on trip to Aldi' then goes on to show the most unflattering pic in the universe of Katie Price. You literally couldn't pay me to be famous.

bamboowarrior · 20/03/2023 20:46

DraconianDen · 20/03/2023 19:47

Zac Efron had an accident and had to have surgery on his jaw, and he quite rightly gets a bit pissed off with people speculating about it www.insider.com/zac-efron-debunks-plastic-surgery-before-after-jaw-injury-2022-9?amp

Yeah right an accident 🤣🤣🤣

namechangeforthisbleep · 20/03/2023 20:48

What's wrong with people. I've not seen anyone with work done that looks remotely natural. What do these people see that we don't. It makes me sad. He doesn't look awful, not trying to be mean, it's just he looked better before and now it looks fake.

Changechangechanging · 20/03/2023 20:49

what we really need to be discussing is why such a successful, good looking young man feels the need to have this kind of work done, surely? I mean it's going to be the same reason as why women do it but goodness me, he must be feeling pretty shit about himself to need that done to make him feel better. Why is that?

As I’ve said before, it’s possible to be aghast at his face alongside being concerned about the example it’s setting.

The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Infact, they’re pretty relevant to each other!
