Weird things my body does....

Over the past few weeks I've started using a brush to apply powder to my face after foundation. Before I'd just use the pad that comes with the compact.
For some reason using the brush directly in the middle of my forehead creates a reaction that feels like pins being dragged down my head.
I remembered that I had a similar reaction when I had a facial last year that involves brushing something onto my skin.
Also when I eat anything super minty it makes my ears itch.
Anyone else's body do weird things?

After I walk a lot, or walk up hill, and then sit down, I get a feeling like bubbles popping on the underside of my thighs.

just a heads up this could be endometriosis. Worth getting checked out especially if you have any other symptoms

I get this and have endometriosis, so definitely worth getting checked

My DH has the mint sneezes! He once sneezed a mint under a counter in a shop. It's the funniest thing.

Even mint chewing gum affects him.

highfidelity · 17/03/2023 20:23

My eye socket sometimes squeaks when I rub my eye(s).

704703hey · 17/03/2023 20:23

I don't think mine does anything exciting reading some of these! One really nice thing is sometimes when I'm falling asleep my toes all flutter, it's a pleasant sensation. It's like they're ruffling themselves.

OnlyFannys · 17/03/2023 20:37

Who are all of these people poking their belly buttons 😂 (I am weirdly squeamish and cant bring myself to touch mine, no idea why)

Sexypyjamas · 17/03/2023 21:01

Only had chance to read half way but I can't touch my belly button (the inner most bit) because i get an awful ripping pain sensation that goes down to my vagina just as others have described. I won't touch my belly button.

If I drink orange cordial I get a layer of weird scum on roof of my mouth that seems to stay for ages and makes swallowing difficult.

When I go outside I get a horrid pain at the top of my nose that's insanely painful and feels like i have smelled the strongest smelling salts ever.

I occasionally get a small red itchy patch that appears on my feet or hands which drive me mad (insane itch) and need washing to alleviate the itch. Skin stays red for a while after.

My right hip clicks and snaps. I don't think that's weird maybe just some sort of injury but it's loud and people can hear it, really annoys me.

I have little cluster of bumps in my right groin that stick out a bit but not on the other side. Where bikini line is. Same on my neck on one side only at back, which pops out when I turn my head to one side.

Certain things make me sneeze, always when driving. Possibly sunlight, though I'm not sure.

Sometimes my lower back seems to give way for no reason and if I take antibiotics or have a flu, I will get really painful nerve pain from my butt down to my heels which keeps me awake night after night for about four days then back to normal. Every single time. So weird.

have had meralgia paresthetica since an small accident over a year ago , thigh mostly goes numb a few times a day but becomes warm and painful when i brush my teeth and orgasm. Also when i'm anxious before an appointment i wake up unable to open my left eye and have to use my hand and then it is fine

Sexypyjamas · 17/03/2023 21:07

Oh I forgot to mention the javelin arse is also javelin vag for me. I call it knife vag though and it is horrific. You're standing there and there is an almighty pain like someone invisible stabbed you in the vagina and you sort of move upwards with the pain. I can't imagine what I must look like when it happens. I sympathize with others that get this (was worse during pregnancy).

bunintheoven88 · 17/03/2023 21:15

I get a weird thumping sound in my left ear when I'm counting coins, but only pennies or pounds. I noticed it more when I used to cash up in my old job.

DoubleFunMum · 17/03/2023 21:16

My sneezes have a smell. I just assumed this was the same for everyone until I found out otherwise. I have to change my clothes if I sneeze on myself or I can smell it all day. Also, sometimes I get the sensation that my right foot is in water when it isn't.

When I have an itch it often takes me ages to work out where it’s coming from. So I think I have an itchy chin, scratch it but no - now the itch is in my scalp. Than my ear. Then my thigh and finally I locate the actual itchy spot and once it’s scratched the itch goes away like for a normal person.

I’ve never known anyone else the happens to!

crazycatladyof6 · 17/03/2023 21:19

I know when I have a urine infection because my fingers tingle

BCBird · 17/03/2023 21:20

Fresh pineapple makes my bum.hole pulsate🙄

If I rub the very base of my back whilst trying to get to sleep I need to pee.

Every now and then my body decides it doesn't want to digest lettuce, was quite scary the first couple of times until I realised what it was.

ScreamingInfidelities · 17/03/2023 21:22

I know when my period is coming because I get itchy nipples. Alcohol makes my right armpit sweat.

Bloomingcancer · 17/03/2023 21:23

My dad always sneezes horrendously when eating peppermints. He also sneezes badly if he rests a cold newspaper on his lap. I’ve recently starting sneezing when I get things out of the freezer or have nipped outside in the cold or washed my hands in cold water.

newtb · 17/03/2023 21:24

DD used to be able to cross her toes, as you do with fingers. Used to make me squirm inside.

PropellerDance · 17/03/2023 21:25

I hiccup when I drink something cold...my Mum does the same.

Justforlaffs · 17/03/2023 21:25

I don’t think this is that unusual - something to do with the frontal lobe - but if I sleep in my back I have horrendous nightmares!

Literally every single time I have a nightmare I wake up and I’m on my back.

Also, since being small I rub my thumb against my index finger nail to make me go to sleep.

newtb · 17/03/2023 21:26

Sneezing with alcohol is an allergic reaction according to a GP I had. Fortified wines do it to me.

My mum can snap her toes the way people snap their fingers. It gives me the heebies 🤮

@crazycatladyof6 poor you!
