I was thinking of her the other day, what ever happened to her? It's like she fell of the face of the earth. When she was married to Paul McCartney she was always in the news it seemed.

Still doing her charity work, I guess. She got enough to live on in the settlement.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 25/02/2023 19:03

Runs a vegan cafe iirc.

IntentionalError · 25/02/2023 19:08

Living a life of sybaritic wealth, relaxation & luxury, one imagines, on Sir Paul’s money. As was always the plan, of course.

MessyJ · 25/02/2023 19:10

I was thinking the same thing. I’m surprised she’s not having a Twitter meltdown every week.

Wow.

MargaritMargo · 25/02/2023 19:56

She recently set a world record in something to do with skiing.

Be interested to hear of the world records set by any of the snidey pp’s? Nope? Didn’t think so.

Pubesofsoberness · 25/02/2023 19:58

She has some sort of vegan sillicon Valley apparently, something to do with storage and production facilities

I only know this as it came up on here a while ago

If I had millions of pounds that I didn’t earn sitting in the bank I could probably devote my time to setting a world record of some kind as well.

AllAboutMargot · 25/02/2023 20:00

I admire her for her gutsy determination and her honesty.

She dedicates a lot of her time to animal rights advocacy and that makes her a star in my book.

Pubesofsoberness · 25/02/2023 20:01

Wasn't the record in 2015 but its only just gone into the guineas book of records

Americano75 · 25/02/2023 20:01

I think she took herself out of the limelight to quietly raise her daughter and open a vegan cafe, the attention hungry bitch.

ReneBumsWombats · 25/02/2023 20:01

Whatever her faults, she was subjected to an unbelievable amount of highly misogynistic and disablist press back in the day.

Greensleevevssnotnose · 25/02/2023 20:03

I saw her speak at a conference last year she owns a massive vegan burger empire in the north east. Quite inspiring actually

Yes, very inspiring, the way she had to work and slave for years to build up the capital to fund her business venture, the sacrifices she made, the blood, sweat and tears that went into every penny… oh wait.

I hope she is having a lovely life with her daughter.

She was absolutely slaughtered and vilified by the press all them years ago. It was fucking disgraceful.

Christ, some of the stuff she had flung at her was horrendous. You'd think she was a serial killer the way the media treated her. I remember reading an article that was so unbelievably vicious and nasty that it made me cry.

She got great press coverage after her leg amputation, role model for the disabled etc, then she married Paul McCartney and the press turned against her. Rubbished her relentlessly. I felt sorry for her. All those that are slagging her off for getting a large divorce settlement, well she was married to an extremely wealthy man and she is the mother of one of his children.

On what grounds should she be left penniless?

Melonportal · 25/02/2023 20:09

She employs a lot of people in the North east

She wasn't exactly skint before Paul McCartney married her.

She was an aspiring model who had a payout after getting run over by a police car and losing a leg.

I'm sure she would have rather earned her money some other way, but do go on belittling her achievements. It makes you sound really big and clever.
