I was thinking of her the other day, what ever happened to her? It's like she fell of the face of the earth. When she was married to Paul McCartney she was always in the news it seemed.

The maintenance is for Beatrice, so leave that out of it.

Yes and how much is Sir Paul the wrinkly old raisin worth? It’s not as though it left him destitute paying the mother of his child off.

Whatever Heather's settlement was it would be like a fart in a hurricane to McCartney and his immense fortune which will get bigger eveey minute of the day with all his royalties.

Nothing to do with child maintenance, this was Heather's personal spending for herself. Beatrice's needs were dealt with separately.

Heather also got a separate allowance from Paul to allow her to give to charity. Nothing screams commitment to charity quite like refusing to dip into your own multi-million pound lifestyle to fund it.

A family member worked for her and PM and we were invited to an event by them when they were married and Beatrice was little. She was genuinely friendly and much more beautiful in RL than in photos. Having said that, she does seem to confabulate.

I’ll put money on them both behaving badly. She is the mother of his child and like it or lump it, he had to put his hand in his pocket.

And yes, she has achieved a few things no doubt helped by the handout he gave her. Money helps. Although plenty millionaires lose their businesses.

I don’t know her from an egg but she fairly got battered by the media. Some of it was brought on by her actions. Most was just pishy nastiness.

I don’t have millions in the bank and the closest I’ve got to a speed record was an out of control kartie on a steep hill in 1976. There was also an incident involving my nan’s tea tray and the same hill adorned with ice. I was lucky to escape with teeth on both occasions.

She went vegan after her accident. It was to do with keeping inflammation down in the body and keeping her weight down, while getting maximum nutrition. The judge justified Paul's anger, in and out of court. The judge uses phrases like "she didn't do herself any favours", typical sexist bullshit, most of it. She claimed PM was worth £800 million, the judge said £400 million. Not long after and PM was worth over a £billion. There's many men manage to hide wealth, when it comes to the divorce and maintenance for the children.
Considering her background, poorly parented, mother dead as a child, father in prison as a teen, being an amputee, especially without family support, then the hatred from the press, she's incredible. That would make many others suicidal or have massive addiction issues. As a pp said, her's is a story, that if she'd ended up begging outside of Aldi, she'd get nothing but sympathy. Dare to get a decent divorce settlement and know her worth and everyone wants to knock her down a peg or two.

She was and is a very beautiful woman, before and after her accident. She married PM aged 33/34. If all she wanted was to bleed a rich man dry, I'm sure she could have arranged it before then.

So the hate is about her marrying a rich guy and utilising it...? Plenty of other women in the public eye have done this and not had the same level of continuous vitriol?

He wasn’t that wrinkly when he married her. He did begin to show his age much more during/after all the hoo-haa with the divorce.

Actually wasn’t one story that she asked his accountant to transfer her a very large sum, which she wanted to repay the mortgage on a house - that Paul actually owned outright? I think I read that again somewhere quite recently, I’d forgotten.
