Makes me laugh all the people who rip her to shreds for marrying him. He willingly married her! She is a woman who is 25 years or so his junior and he was old and clever enough(and will have had plenty of advisors) to know that it probably would t last forever!

He wasn’t that wrinkly when he married her. He did begin to show his age much more during/after all the hoo-haa with the divorce.

Actually wasn’t one story that she asked his accountant to transfer her a very large sum, which she wanted to repay the mortgage on a house - that Paul actually owned outright? I think I read that again somewhere quite recently, I’d forgotten.

She was criticized in court by the judge during her divorce, she made an out of court settlement when she described being kidnapped with a neighbour, the payment was to the neighbour who claimed the story was very different.

Something very similar has been said about a very high profile woman recently. It usually gets a swift deletion and outraged posts. Rightly so.

No one is saying they are Patty perfects.

They may be everything you say but it still doesn’t mean that they didn’t have a bad time of it in their marriage. The time has gone where you have to stay in a marriage that brings no joy to either of you. And thank god for that.

She is not being portrayed as a victim either. Just a woman who got a settlement on divorce for her and her daughter.

It was made 4 years ago by Channel 4 so if you're a fan you've probably already seen it. It's called From Hull to Heatongrad and I watched it on youtube.
