Son's main present major fail help!

Ds 13 got a new graphics card. His dad and me have no clue about stuff like that so asked the computer savvy expert in CEX where we bought it from. It was about £130. Dh asked specifically if it was right for our PC etc and how easy it was to fit. He was told really easy.
Fast forward to today old graphics card out, new 1 in but it won't work. Haven't a bloody clue. It won't connect to the monitor it says no signal. Now old 1 won't go back in so no PC at all. Poor DS is putting a brave face on but he was so excited for this. Evri lost 1 of his other presents so he's not got that much to be happy with arrghh!!

@VillaMaria71 what does it say I can't read the picture. You may need to uninstall the old graphics card drivers first.

Just restarting PC now. It's so bloody slow!

@VillaMaria71 if your still having issues installing the software, you can go to intels web pages and download a displaydriver cleaner, so you can do a fresh install.

Step 6. on the link Select device type to GPU and select device to INTEL.

you need to change INTEL for NVIDIA.

If driver issues continue try a utility called DDU to fully remove old drivers.

What does your DS play?

He's successfully downloaded the game ready driver and now he's doing the graphics driver.

It's like another language to me!!

DS is happy at last. Thank you so much for all the help. I can't believe the kindness of strangers on Christmas Day when you must be all so busy. Thankfully we are eating out later so haven't had to cook anything!
