AIBU to be getting fed up with Michael Sheens motivational speeches for anything Welsh ?

Don't watch or listen to them then.

He is great at speeches.

YANBU if he is coming to your house and shouting the speeches through your letterbox.

I’m not Welsh but I love him. He’s an amazing actor (and giver of speeches) and from everything I have seen and read he seems like a genuinely lovely person too.
If he wanted to come and shout motivational speeches through my letterbox I would be ok with it

I had to google it so its not like he's in everyone's face about it. I'm English but my DH is Welsh and i think it's great, wales has an amazing history and culture. I actually speak a bit of Welsh, when I met DH I knew I really liked him so ignorantly I suppose assumed him and his family spoke Welsh. I spent a lot of time learning words and phrases, ready to whip it out when I met his parents- only to learn nope they didn't know any. Took me until the wedding to admit to my slightly creepy but ultimately educational endeavour.

I like them, but I also like the idea that he does them constantly in inappropriate situations, like one of those mortifying bellowing husbands I've seen now and again, so thanks for that!

I think they're great. I told DS that I'll stream one to his google speaker if he doesn't get out of bed on time. (English here)

He can bellow them through my letterbox any day.

I saw him do a speech on a panel show once, and afterwards my only goal in life was to rush out and win a trophy for the Welsh men's rugby team. (NB am a 5'3" woman with zero muscle tone)

My DD met him several times when she was involved with West Glamorgan youth theatre. MS was patron, having been a former member himself. He came to support their show, bought them all tshirts and hung out for the party afterwards.
He is, apparently, unutterably lovely.

I have been sniggering to myself about this.
I can picture him in the supermarket with his wife and she asked something like “Mike, do we need more loo roll?”
Then Welsh music starts and he stares into the (imaginary) camera and starts
”The question is not whether we need more loo roll ……………………………………………” etc etc

Not a fan.

Im half Welsh and even that side of me couldn’t abide another of his speeches.

I like him. Wish he was Scottish, we could do with him up here.
