Have asked real people who mostly say it's a wanky status symbol and has gone the way of Burberry tartan from way back.

I thought they looked comfy and on trend and id look down with the kids

YABU = over-priced, over used and looks like desperate showing off
YANBU = top quality product and you'll look fashionable

YABU

Flopisfatteningbingforchristmas · 30/09/2022 18:31

It’s designed for very cold temps so probably isn’t suitable for autumn/spring.

Dewintergarden · 30/09/2022 18:32

YABU to buy from a company that has fur products

BigSandyBalls2015 · 30/09/2022 18:32

Google them and then make up your mind!

Phrenologistsfinger · 30/09/2022 18:32

YABU - they kill wild dogs to trim the hoods with their fur, with cruel snare traps. In a frantic attempt to escape, the poor dogs try and knaw off their own limbs. Horrific.

UGLY through and through and so is anyone wearing them.

strugglingmum82 · 30/09/2022 18:32

Don't buy one.

MrsDThomas · 30/09/2022 18:33

You’re not in Vladivostok.

JMKid · 30/09/2022 18:33

It's an awful company with very poor ethics, they use real fur on their hoods. Avoid avoid avoid. And it's a wanky brand bought by people trying to show off.

Nocutenamesleft · 30/09/2022 18:35

Highly overpriced and we don’t need them in the uk

HOWEVER. They are actually really good coats for places like Canada. So if you’re going to be spending a lot of time near the artic or whatever. Then yes

in Southampton uk. Nah…..

Flopisfatteningbingforchristmas · 30/09/2022 18:36

The website say they are suitable for temp -15 to -25c.

Nocutenamesleft · 30/09/2022 18:36

hit Send too soon

i wouldn’t buy one due to the ethics of it though! Not sure on the first. How their ethos is etc

i don’t trust them.

Sirzy · 30/09/2022 18:36

The ethics of the company would put me off

winewolfhowls · 30/09/2022 18:38

All the kids are wearing them, they are a bit of a status symbol for the more 'street' kids around here so on that basis I wouldn't.

Spanglybangles · 30/09/2022 18:39

Prob not necessary if you aren’t in Atlantic Canada, Alaska or Siberia tbh. Very good quality though as they are going/have gone fur less, see link

www.canadagoose.com/en/beyond/were-going-fur-free/

HundredMilesAnHour · 30/09/2022 18:42

YABU.

Over-priced, dated, and most importantly, ethically lacking.

Whiskeypowers · 30/09/2022 18:42

Hoping the provenance of their fur collars was not known before you started this thread

TooHotToTangoToo · 30/09/2022 18:47

No die to the fur trim alone

declutteringmymind · 30/09/2022 18:47

They're shit. Also so many fakes about that I assume they're fake unless I know you're mega rich and not tight. But then mega rich people don't really wear them. So I just assume fake I guess.

TooHotToTangoToo · 30/09/2022 18:47

Due not die

Needtimeandspace · 30/09/2022 18:47

I used to live in Chicago and I would have bought one there if I'd had the money. But in the UK? Why? There's no need. They are designed for extreme temperatures. Killing some poor geese isn't justified for fashion statements imo.

Snoken · 30/09/2022 18:48

I live in Sweden where we do get the sort of temperatures needed for a coat like that to not be too hot, but no way would I buy from them, they are a horrible company.

savethebeesandthecees · 30/09/2022 18:52

Dewintergarden · 30/09/2022 18:32

YABU to buy from a company that has fur products

I didn't know that!

Wow

ThatshallotBaby · 30/09/2022 18:54

No I wouldn’t. Not even second hand.

Eyerollrsi · 30/09/2022 18:54

If you want to pay for animals to be tortured in a horrific way then YANBU.

Dotcheck · 30/09/2022 18:57

I think they’re going furless
