I know I aibu to post here but I’ve accidentally fed my myself and my child undercooked chicken, oven wasn’t up as high as I thought and chips were done so I thought ok. Definitely raw. Am so anxious.

likelihood of illness? What do I do? Is there anything that can be done? Google says don’t make yourself sick.

Ew speedy recovery OP and child!

My Mum got the campylobacty thing from an ice cream scooper sat in warm water 🤮

I've had a thoroughly cooked through (verging on dry) homemade burger and feel nauseous now after reading the posts!

OldTinHat · 30/09/2022 00:09

Oh no, so sorry to hear you're poorly. I read your first post. I hope you both recover quickly, I've done similar before, so easy to do.

How would we know whether you'll be fine?
Maybe a point of learning is to pay more attention to what you are feeding your 4 year old child and to stop shovelling crap into your mouth?
🤷

Bellend of the year award 🥇

Hope you feel better soon op - ignore the self righteous comments.
I too shove processed crap Into my mouth, you aren't alone 😉
I got compalybacter from chicken at a pub once, horrific. If it was that I think you'd know by now as from what I remember it was very quick to come on.
Feel better soon Flowers
