Agreed. Honestly can't believe people are so horrible about this. Someone told them where to go. So many others did the exact same thing. It wouldn't even have been a thing if Beckham didn't queue. People need to pipe down and get on with their lives, it's becoming embarrassing. Get a hobby. Grrrr rant over

The queue thing is just the catalyst to people being generally sick of the two of them. The smugness in both oozes out of every pore. They are totally unprofessional always have some sort of private joke going on, find innuendo in everything then try and look serious when they have to, with her usually crying about something. They are completely out of touch with the public as the spin shambles showed, laughing at people winning money towards their energy bills when they are raking it in. But no one must ever upset precious holly like she's some sort of deity. Ruth and Rylan for me every time.

Whether you like Holly and Phillip or not, they didn't really do anything wrong. It would have been the producers choice to do the segment about the queen lying in state. Holly and Phil were there to do a press related job so they joined the press queue. If they had not been there to do some filming and had joined the VIP queue with their families in tow and popcorn in hand then I would understand it. But they didn't.

Eamon Holmes has always been a shit stirrer. And he's bitter because him and Ruth got the sack. If he was still on the show, he would have probably filmed that segment himself and entered via the VIP queue quite happily.

I doubt it. They do annoy me and I do think the whole 15 minute video today on the queens death etc was probably thrown together as a cover for the whole thing to make it look like that was just one tiny part of it. I saw they’d sent Alison and dermot out to look at the flowers as some sort of token thing as well to make it look like they were all out ‘reporting’ but to be fair they were there with the boss of this morning, you can see him in the video of them going in. The footage taken must have just been filmed on phones or something and was maybe an after thought at the time but it ties in with their cover story all the same. The thing that really baffles me about it all is why is holly wearing a mask? She’s the only person who is and doesn’t wear one for Wimbledon or anything like that so I thought that slightly made it seem like they were trying to be sly and go in without anyone noticing

Interesting tactic, no one else wearing a mask so wearing a mask will stop people noticing you. I'm not sure walking next to PS would work with that.

Not sure you're cut out for being a spy.

regardless the programme is v stale with them fronting it I think most also think they’re both out of touch and tone deaf to the surroundings of Schofield coming out.

Two people in the media (for want of a better word) used the super dooper people in the media/public eye/special folk queue and now they're bad bad people for ... Using a queueing system designed by the organisers to 'fast track' super dooper people in the media/public eye/special folk.

It's my understanding that they had press accreditation, gaining access to a platform alongside the room. They then dropped down from the platform to walk around the coffin (they've said this was outside the main queue) and it's this that was essentially 'queue jumping' in some eyes. They've 'cut in' at the front of the 'traffic lights'.

Ultimately, people are using this as an excuse to voice their opinion about two presenters who appear to have fallen out of general favour. Last straw and all that.

Not a fan of either of them but a public pile on is unedifying.

Apparently the petition for H&W to be sacked has reached 29,000 signatures. But I still believe this will blow over and I don't think they'll be addressing it again on air. Things will just carry on the same as ever.
If they get front row seats for the Coronation then we can do it all again...
