How often married/long term couples intimate?

If you are married or in a long term relationship how often are you intimate with your partner? Honestly!

But no in all seriousness. Married 6 years, together 10. Probably once a week on average (but that's normally twice one week, then not again for another fortnight etc.

Every other day usually or sometimes more, occasionally less due to illness etc. But this is the first relationship I have ever been in where my partner has matched my sex drive so my answer years ago would be very different

Once a week - lives are so busy …by the time I go to bed I’m so tired. If we’re off work then It tends to be more.

"intimate" is a subjective word.

Sex - hardly ever. We both have low libidos and very, very busy family lives it will be years between times we have sex. Neither of us are bothered

Closeness - constantly. We are very tactile. We hug, kiss, snog daily. We sit close on the sofa and tickle, snuggle, etc all the time. Intimacy is a constant daily, hourly, thing when we are together.

We've been married 20 years. A couple of times a week I guess.

Together 16 years, probably 3-4 times a week, then a week where we are too busy / tired etc. so average monthly somewhere between 5-10 I’d guess.

Not as much as we'd like, he works away.

Together 21 years. Up until last year probably once or twice a week but I've had some physical and mental health issues this year and am in peri menopause so my libido is low right now. DH is also in a new stressful job. So we tend to sleep early nowadays!

First ten years of marriage- about 2-3 tines a week

Three kids later, 12 years married- down to once every month or two.

Mainly due to my hubby, his porn problem and lack of honesty

This. Sporadic, every 2-3 months a really hot sexy spell where we have great sex and make more effort, then not much for a month, then maybe a month of more boring quickies 2-3 times in a month, then a few weeks off.

Not often. Recently had a long spell of no sex for months, but then three times in one week.

Similar to a PP though - we cuddle, kiss, hold hands, snuggle on the sofa together every day. He does great massages! Just rarely have sex.

Married 7 years together 10. It really depends tbh, sometimes it can be every day and other times we can go a week or so without doing it at all. It depends on things like illness, tiredness levels, stress ect...

Every 4-8 weeks. Together 16 years. Although we did do it twice in one week recently as he was off work. He works hard at work and on a project we have and he’s constantly busy, and always tired.

I’d love it more - once a week would be my ideal.

Once, twice a month maybe. Sometimes more and sometimes less. Usually more often in winter.

Depends on my hormones. We can go 2-3 weeks without any and then suddenly I can't get enough and it can be every day or more for a couple of weeks.

We're older, one oap one approaching. We're still intimate with kisses and cuddles, holding hands and just happy in each others company. The other physical aspect not so often, OH has been ill for a few years now and unlikely to get better, it takes its toll on him. I'm just happy to hold him and have him here at times.

Before them and still maybe when we just had one or two, it'd be 4/5 times a week.

Now, 2/3 times.

But both happy with that.

Sporadic. The most we ever had was during lockdown which made me realise how much daily living just saps you.

15 years married 2 a year...we are very tired people 😂
