On Holiday and hate it!

Was just after some moral support am on holiday with my daughter in a shit all inclusive in turkey horrible place and horrible hotel. We are here until Monday 😭honestly been in tears and just want to come home. Any words of wisdom to keep us going. They want £650 for an earlier flight home that I just can’t afford.

Meant can’t afford that.

What's wrong with hotel? Can you be moved?

Oh no, what a nightmare

What's awful about it? Is it dirty/bad food/noisy/nothing to do? Are the problems things the staff can fix?

Can’t you slope off to a local beach somewhere and enjoy turkey itself. Come back, take some of your all inc booze to your room and sleep it off!!

That’s a shame, what don’t you like about it? Can you make the best of it, enjoy the weather/pool etc. holidays rarely live up to expectations IMHO.

Depends what’s wrong with the holiday.

Dirty hotel random drunks walking about at night making you feel unsafe.. Pervy men honestly not one to complain but this is bad. plus food is disgusting and no one speaks English well so hard to express yourself.

How many books did you bring and is there decent WiFi?

Can you leave the resort and do some local excursions?

If your room isn't very nice, ie dirty or things not working properly then complain and ask to be moved to a better one.

I would be calling whoever you booked the holiday through. Was it a big holiday operator or well-known European provider?

Are the drunks on the hotel grounds?

shit. The safety thing is a problem isn’t it.

Already had to pay £250 on arrival to upgrade as the room I thought I had booked wasn’t the one I got when I arrived. It’s a con apparently they do that to a lot of people.

Is there a rep you can contact and complain and ask to move?

Oh god why did you book Turkey then if you don't like Turkish food? It's well known Turkish men are letchy and I'm sorry but you're in their country why should everyone speak English?!

No rep well just a Turkish guy that says he works for the travel agents but no English rep here
