To think it's acceptable for my DN to wear a body suit with no Bra?

I would like some perspective on this please. Niece is 17 wearing an all in one body suit with no Bra on holiday, bra size is 30 a/b. Occasionlly you could see nipple through top.
Is it acceptable for family member to tell her to put a top on over bodysuit to cover up?

Dd is 20, none of her friends wear bras. It's incredibly common these days and it comes with a refreshing body positive attitude that is like a bloody breath of fresh air.

Leave your niece alone. Stop judging other women and start celebrating them instead.

I don't understand why people have to avert their eyes over some covered breast that has a nipple outline. Do you avert your eyes when you see male nipples too?

Unless you wear thick or padded bras, you can still see nipples sometimes.

Why are you comparing a woman’s nipple to a man’s genitals? You realise that men have nipples too, and don’t tend to go out of their way to cover them up? She’s not got her vulva hanging out.

I really hate how teenager dress this day. If i’m in your position i just tell her nicely to put the bra on. But not pushy or anything. Just mention it nicely. Dont expect her to listen to you though.

I was dressing in bodysuits with no bra 30 years ago as a teenager. Get over yourself.

I think some bodysuits are more covered up than others so need more description or a photo. I think too much unnecessary nudity on holiday or not is vulgar.

Where is she on holiday? If she’s somewhere like Disney where they used to be quite strict and wouldn’t let men wear no tops then maybe….also depends how obvious the nipple was. And what family member it was who said it really.

rachel in Friends always had her nips poking through tops and it really bugs me when I watch it now

I’ve been breastfeeding babies for the last three years, my nipples are always out. Nipples don’t suddenly become more socially acceptable because they’re being used versus ones that aren’t. IMO anyway.

Free the nip.

Are you all on a beach holiday somewhere ? Isn't it a fairly normal thing not to wear a bra on holiday if it's warm ? I certainly don't and I'm well over 17 years old with an A cup .

Good grief, there all manner of gardeners, workmen , joggers, wandering about without their shirts on in the heat - it’s not attractive in the main - but they are men so they do it with impunity.
Meanwhile, we are talking about women being encouraged to add another layer ( a bra ) so no-one has to see an erect nipple. Yeah, right.

Nope, she's wearing normal outdoor clothes. Her underwear choices are nobody's business. Bodies have nipples - men's nipple contours are visible a lot of the time, too.
