Purely for science I have cracked one onto my glass top garden table. Forgot the slabs were uneven so half is now on the floor!!

im going car - it’s a crap car anyway.....

@concernedrepurplehouse try using a bit of tinfoil and fold the sides up to crack the egg into it!

You need a pint of harp to go with that egg

I would have put it on a baking tray on the patio. It would definitely have cooked then.

You've egged me on to try my own eggsperiment. My trusty frying pan on top of my green bin. It's 34c outside.

If doesn't work today , will attempt tomorrow but start in the morning instead. It's forecast hotter here then

Do you think it would cook inside a very hot car, in like a metal dish or something?

My ds wants to do this after hearing people talk about it on the radio. Might try tomorrow. We did a homemade solar oven a while back, worked really well!

I lived in Botswana as a child. One time we bought eggs at the supermarket and drove home in 40 degree heat for 30 mins. Eggs were hard boiled in the boot. 🤣

I have brought in the use of a mirror.

I'm far too committed to stop.

My DC are making a solar oven. We tried it a couple of years ago and cooked some eggs.
