There really isn't any glory in winning when the odds are stacked overwhelmingly in your favour.

As an ex athlete (not cycling). I'd be really cross. The men have the biological/physical advantage. I could have beaten some men but not those at a similar age and level.

Agree. I am captain of a sports team and it'sjust embarrassing when you absolutely wipe the floor with another team. I like to win but it is much more enjoyable to win when you have an opposition that challenges you and it feels like an achievement.

I find it so sad for both Jo and her daughter. Jo didn't get to have the moment of standing on the first podium holding her daughter, and her daughter didn't get to be held be her Mum on the top spot.

You got it the wrong way round. The woman who got 3rd place is in the womens race which the first and second place winners entered because they now can.

Bio women need to stop entering these competitions & instead band together with other bio women wishing to compete in the relevant sport. They can then form their own competetive sports events. No point in hanging around waiting for Governments to reverse their new fangled policies that are only in favour of trans peple.

I absolutely cannot understand the logic of trangender people competing outside of their biological sex categories. it's quite clearly discriminatory and wrong.
