Winner's podium of an 'inclusive' 'women's' cycling race.
Biological woman is third.

Yes.
To accommodate gender, any remaining differences in dress codes between male and female events should be scrapped, any athlete should choose whichever option they want. For instance, women beach volleyball players should be allowed the same types of shorts and tops as men, not forced to wear bikinis if the don't want to. That sort of thing, that's 'gender'.

The beach volleyball girls would love this to happen.

They are sick of complaining that their clothing is too revealing. I think the same would go for many of the swimmers, too.

Dalekjastninerels · 09/06/2022 14:53

The physical strength difference is too discrepant for it to be fair for transgender women and women to be in the same events together.

They will probably say this is unfair, no one knows what it is like etc etc as if no one else has problems but them.

Looks like 3 women to me. Two of them are in a romantic relationship? I’m glad they’re able to be public with that

BatDuck · 09/06/2022 17:19

Another day, another women's bike race with male people involved.

I think you need a trip to SpecSavers.

I hear the Barnard Castle branch is very good.

If by ludicrous you mean that men shouldn't be competing against women - you are dead right!

RufustheFloralmissingreindeer · 10/06/2022 15:31

Abso-fucking-lutely!

Well as long as they look like women that’s all good then.
What if they have a full beard and lots of armpit hair, is that less what a woman looks like. What is they have a penis? What is the requirement of either race - just identify how you want? How long before women can win nothing.

Great they are in a relationship. Probably less great if you’re a lesbian who finds that it now includes people with male tackle.

Especially if you accept that a solution that is fair to all should be found and if you consider trans people to be the gender that they identify as then what can be done?

@WarriorN, it’s not hard. People simply have to compete according to their sex and not their gender. The number of intersex people where sex is genuinely confused is infinitesimally tiny. It doesn’t matter what clothes a person wears or what pronouns they choose. In sport it is their physical body which matters, and that is easily divided by sex.

I don't think I made the above comment!
