Supposed to be having lunch with a few friends from work. One has just messaged me and said she has lost her bank card so if she transfers money can I withdraw it as cash.
I'm really not happy she's put me on this situation.

I'd do it. What's the big deal?

I'd phone first to make sure it's not a scam text and if not then I'd see no problem on doing what she has asked. What is your problem with it?

Or course I would, how else do you think they can pay?

I can't imagine money for lunch would be enough for you to be worried about laundering?

It would be annoying if she asked you to pay.
She making arrangements to pay her own way - what's the problem?

Banks aren’t open on a Sunday, you also can’t use the emergency codes at cash machines on a Sunday.

So how would she sort it out herself?

I'd do it. If your socialising outside of work she's not just a work colleague and is surely more of a friend.
She's not asking to borrow money from you.

Are you being generous calling her a friend?
Is it more a colleague that you don't trust to have your bank details?

Are you not friends then? I'm sure she has/is sorting it out herself or has she asked you to sort a replacement card for her? She's trying to sort a way of still meeting for lunch.

Yes but you are meeting outside if work fir lunch so I presume she's more than a colleague. I really don't see why you wouldn't help someone out if they've already transferred the money. She's not even asking for a loan, just a solution to her problem.

She hasn't bothered a work colleague, she's bothered a friend who she's going out to lunch with.

Tell her she's being absolutely unreasonable and should either not come out, or print her own money instead...

That's not a big deal.
Just makesure the money is in your account before you lift it.
