What’s your favourite simple pleasure?

For me, it’s going into my bed with freshly washed bedsheets after I have a shower. Bliss.

Walking down the garden and seeing more bulbs and leaves on shrubs appearing as we move into spring. Seeing the first tiny blue forget me nots appearing in amongst the leaves. A few weeks and I will have a carpet of them down the side of the path.

Lovely...

Bubble bath with cup of tea, chocolate buttons and a good book followed by bed with freshly changed bed sheets. Utter bliss

House is clean and I have a quiet cuddle with my 18m DD if she won't settle to sleep (now that's she's past the awful screaming

Baby is in bed, tidying done and I get to sit down to eat some food with quiet in the house.

Some of these remind me of my favourite simple pleasure when DD was 2/3.

She didn't always need a nap in the afternoon but we'd always sit down at 3pm for a cuddle and rink and a biscuit and half a hour of Peppa Pig.

3pm today I was giving her a driving lesson .

Oh the bra thing! I used to take mine off at the traffic lights in Summer and I was wearing loose clothes, making it easy. I even did it when I had a sports car and the top was down!

Oh another simple pleasure(s) of mine!

Sitting in the garden with a nice book, sharp lemonade in the summer sun during the evening, going to John Lewis for a browse. I’ve always been a big fan of John Lewis and find their stores so inviting and full of inspiration for my home, cuddling in bed/on the sofa with DH watching our favourite TV show while it’s raining.
