For me, it’s going into my bed with freshly washed bedsheets after I have a shower. Bliss.

Having time to myself at home. Peace and quiet.
Being in a nice park, laying on soft grass looking up at a blue sky, and listening to birds singing
Smell of cut grass

My ideal weekend of doing nothing includes a hard workout at the gym, then relaxing in a hot bath, followed by an afternoon nap.

@AmbushedByCake I am so jealous. I am COMPLETELY OBSESSED with line drying my stuff (esp bed linen) but it was pissing down where I am all day today.

Being cosy in bed while the rain batters the windows outside

Oh this is my top one! Clean sheets would be a bonus - plus not having to get up and go outside.

A summer's evening, when it starts get a bit cooler, lighting candles on the terrace and having a large glass of white wine or 3.

Sitting by the sea. I grew up on the coast and now live miles in land. I miss it.

Going to a steamy, warm cafe on a horrible day and having a toasted sarnie, or bacon roll with a big mug of hot tea.

Snuggling up on the sofa with a new book and the cat.

Fresh gel polish
Daffodils
Scented candles
Air freshener

Cherry tomatoes warmed by the sun, straight from the plants in my garden. To be eaten standing with my eyes closed and sun on my face.

Sitting with my little dog curled up on my lap. Telling him he is a good dog and having him respond with this soft little noise he makes in his throat.

The smell of burnt toast
Sunshine reflecting in the bath water bubbles
My hair feeling soft & clean
The mild tiredness after working hard

Lying next to my beautiful and peaceful sleeping toddler, watching her sleep and rubbing my hand over the soft skin of her forehead, cheeks, back and warm legs

Cleaning out the tumble dryer fluff collector. My new dryer has two!

Why is that such a pleasure, I love doing the same. One of the funniest TV moments was in Dinnerladies when they were reminiscing about things they hadn't done and one character says I wish I'd saved all the fluff from my tumble drier! If you have two fluff catchers do you get more fluff???

A bit of a selfish one but when I first retired I loved listening to neighbours scraping the ice from their cars to get to work, knowing that I would hardly ever need to do that again!

Getting straight out of the shower and putting my hairdryer on.

Being around horses

Sitting on the sofa with a good book to read snuggled under the blanket

Being the last one to bed and hearing nothing but silence and the dog snoring

Dog walk on a dry non windy day with a podcast to listen to.

Mine has to be a walk on a beach or a fresh cup of coffee.

• clean and fresh bedding / shower / clean pjs is the ultimate
• the boys playing guitars together and getting along, their laughter
• that first aperol spritz when the weather gets nicer! outside!
• a podcast in the bath
• maybe not simple, but lighting a new posh candle

Whole day and night to myself (happens twice a year if I'm lucky as DD doesn't stay overnight with her dad regularly). Long bath before dinner which is generally something she's not keen on, bottle of wine and sole custody of the cats and the remote control

As in...what I have for dinner is usually something DD isn't keen on as I can't be arsed to cook separately when she's here!

Sitting cuddling my BoBoo (little cute dog) in the afternoon watching TV when my work is finished

Laughing at anything and everything with our grandson.

Friday night bath, Any Questions, gin and tonic, then salmon cooked by my husband.
