For me, it’s going into my bed with freshly washed bedsheets after I have a shower. Bliss.

Hot bath and a book. Bliss

Runny eggs on toast 😋

A thoroughly decent cup of tea with the dog next to me.

Getting into my bed warmed up by the electric mattress warmer.

Sitting in the garden with a cup of coffee during the summer. Letting my mind wander to wherever it wants. 10-15 minutes and I am set up for the day

Hanging the washing out on the line and watching it blow in the breeze.

Being asleep

Fresh sheets every week (worth the hassle of changing a superking duvet cover).
Fresh coffee every morning from ds, in a thermal travel cup so I can either take it to work or drink it warm in bed a few hours later.
Cats. Even when they’re stroppy. The purrs and fluffy tummies are pure therapy.
Time outdoors even when the weather isn’t great. Sitting, walking, cooking, doesn’t matter but good for us to be exposed to the uv, soil bacteria, fresh air, all of it. And pets of all types. The exercise, the time outside, the bacteria exposure, the relaxing effect of stroking- even fish and hamsters are beneficial.

Clean sheets - I wash bedding once a week and pillows three times a week. I love placing my head on a clean pillow.

Having a lay in at the weekend

Lying in bed with my dog cosied next to me.

Fresh bedsheets its one of mine.

Lying in bed all toasty warm listening to the rain outside. Bliss

A really hot shower

Stretching out in my scruffy old recliner chair by the wide-open stacker doors, in the sunshine. Sitting room opens out into the garden. Good book and glass of chilled NZ sunshine.

Watching my daft rescue dog run around after his ball, after being told he could never be let off the lead.

Waking up all fresh (I enjoy a glass of wine with Pointless but I feel it the next day! Booze free week this week and today I’m 🌟)

Waking up on a 6 Nations morning, like today, with a whole afternoon of rugby and beer ahead 😂

Fresh home baked wholemeal bread warm from the oven slathered with salty butter or home-made mayonnaise.

I'm always the first up in ours and I love having an hour of peace and quiet with a strong coffee and DDog snoring gently next to me on the sofa.

Close second is fresh sheets on the bed. I remember reading that Jackie Onassis had her bedding changed after every time she was in bed!

Taking my dog to the dog beach: clean, happy and tired dog, lovely sea and sky.

Hearing the rain on the steel roof of my house.

I love a frosty bit sunny Sunday morning when I gear the church bells ringing. I don't go to church, or believe in God, but I find it very comforting. If I get to go for a run in the frosty but sunny weather that's even better.

Buying myself something new to wear that I feel really good in. It doesn't happen often though. I love wearing the new clothes before they've been washed too. Things just aren't the same after they've been washed - accept bedsheets ad towels.

When my almost 14 year old goes to sleep at a decent time.

All my children but at the moment especially my baby dd. Watching her discover things and learn how to do things for herself is just amazing.

When I put my legs up on the couch and without fail my dog comes and lies on me. He's done it since he was a pup and I'll really miss that when he's gone.

Having the housework all done on a Friday ready for the weekend. It rarely happens though.

Getting my car cleaned. My car is usually filthy because of pur jobs and the dog.

I took the duvet to the recycle place

LOVE the flannelette top and bottom sheets and 100% cotton blankets.

Sooooo much more comfortable than the heavy hot duvet.

Fresh sheets and PJs (clearly this is near universal - plans a laundering and bed changing service multi-million enterprise)

A cup of tea, preferably brought to me in bed.

Whole Earth crunchy peanut butter

Swimming for half an hour at local lido followed by tea in the sunshine
