Everyone should continue to call him Prince Andrew

I’ve seen a few people, and TV programmes and things, saying he’s just Andrew now.

He’s not, though, is he? He’s still a prince, that can’t be taken from him, like his other titles. He should continue to be called Prince Andrew.

“But he doesn’t deserve to be a prince”, people say. Well, no-one does, that’s the whole deal with a monarchy. You don’t get to pick and choose, there’s no merit, it’s entirely about whose cock and balls were involved.

Royals have done appalling things for centuries, it’s their divine right. If you don’t like it, stop supporting it.

Paedophile Andrew sounds more appropriate doesn't it?
If he remains a prince then it settles the fact that the royal family need to be abolished when the queen dies.

TheKeatingFive · 24/01/2022 10:59

But I also know about the appalling conviction rates for rape and sexual assault

And that's for regular smucks.

How does anyone bring a member of the British Royal Family to justice? A practically impossible task.

Which the colossal cunt knew when he did it.

TheKeatingFive · 24/01/2022 11:01

I've settled on Prince of Perv. Great summary.

MrsSkylerWhite · 24/01/2022 11:02

Divine right? 🤣

I’m an atheist. I can think of a fair few other things to call him.

camperqueen54 · 24/01/2022 11:03

I think they should call him something beginning with p but not Prince.

It’s not accurate though, is it? She was a trafficked woman not a child. He can’t not remain a prince, that’s what he is regardless.

I don’t see the monarchy being abolished in my life time.

Roussette · 24/01/2022 11:13

I’m not convinced the Queen has defended or protected him for decades either. She was probably in blissful ignorance until the last two or three years, just like the rest of us

Errrmmmm.... excuse me... 15 years ago his behaviour and his role as trade envoy was highlighted as being dodgy, 15 years ago I knew the Sunninghill house sold over the asking price to a Kazakshan oligarch was a backhander, 12 years ago HMQ spoke of her 'concern' about his role as a TA and his friendship with JE... concern is not enough, she did nothing, she knew
We've not all got our heads stuck in the sand

TwentyFirstCenturyTricoteuse · 24/01/2022 11:15

Just think, if Charles were infertile Andy would probably be king in a couple of years.

Let's all savour that thought

TwentyFirstCenturyTricoteuse · 24/01/2022 11:24

I have some sympathy with the innocent until proven guilty argument but I think it's fair enough he's getting more heat than Epstein's other little buddies. They are not living a life of absolute piss-taking luxury at the taxpayer's expense.

Blossomtoes · 24/01/2022 11:26

So their crimes are less important @TwentyFirstCenturyTricoteuse? Because they’re obscenely wealthy Americans it’s OK?

TwentyFirstCenturyTricoteuse · 24/01/2022 11:29

of course not [eyeroll] but they are a matter for the American courts so people on a UK talkboard are not going to be as up in arms about them are they?

Blossomtoes · 24/01/2022 11:33

Andrew’s a matter for the American courts too. No charges have been brought here.

TwentyFirstCenturyTricoteuse · 24/01/2022 11:36

Yes but - and I realise this might not be obvious - the American billionaires don't live here leeching off the UK taxpayer.

We’ve just gone complete circle, haven’t we? Completely pointless.
TwentyFirstCenturyTricoteuse · 24/01/2022 11:39

Indeed.

Klippetyklip · 24/01/2022 11:43

@stinkycheeseman

Can I just call him 'that cunt, Prince Andrew?'
You could drop prince from that and everyone would still know who you were talking about.
NiceShrubbery · 24/01/2022 11:58

American billionaires might not be living here leeching off the taxpayers but they inexplicably tend to be great mates with British royal leeches. Armand Hammer and "Prince" Charles, another totally innocent pairing... I feel another royals thread coming on

Aubriella · 24/01/2022 12:00

Isn’t Armand Hammer a toothpaste brand?

BigYellowHat · 24/01/2022 12:43

Might call him Andy.

Interesting. Andrew is using the same lawyer Hammer appointed to act for him. The accusations faced by Hammer also related to questions of consent.
NiceShrubbery · 24/01/2022 13:20

What a very small world it is, MarielVanArkleStinks.

Just started another thread for the non-Andrew-related Hammer coincidences.

Getyourjinglebellsinarow · 24/01/2022 13:21

@LegArmpits

Is that you Andrew?
😂😂
Journeynotdestination · 24/01/2022 13:26

This whole thread is LOL.

The Andrew formerly known as Prince - fabulous!
