which has a programme in it how to deal with dd2's "bedwetting" WTF? She doesn't do "bedwetting", she's only 4.4 and still in pull-ups, which I thought was widely accepted as quite normal?

sorry...I didn't say anyhting bad about desi, just took her as an example....really what I meant to say then was, that we all agree with some people in some parts and can still disagree with them in others....

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 08/12/2007 22:56

wierd !!! BALR! nicely wierd though

3JinglesandnoBells · 08/12/2007 22:58

oh and took Desi as an example because she sprang to mind, personally, as she is absolutely lovely but we have somethings we are completely opposed about...

BoysAreLikeReindeer · 08/12/2007 23:01

Wierd.

And lovely example of MN self-moderating too

Thank you all for not flaming me

3JinglesandnoBells · 08/12/2007 23:05

jinglebells2shoessmells · 08/12/2007 23:05

3JinglesandnoBells · 08/12/2007 23:06

BoysAreLikeReindeer · 08/12/2007 23:09

The MN way or the highway

3JinglesandnoBells · 08/12/2007 23:10

even more confused now

BoysAreLikeReindeer · 08/12/2007 23:16

3jingles

Let me try to explain...

basically MNetters try (lol) not to drag grievances from thread to thread.

It's Bad Form, although you gave a beautiful explanation of why you mentioned a MNetter who was not on the thread, so we are all friends again.

If that's ok with you, not wanting to be presumptuous

jinglebells2shoessmells · 08/12/2007 23:20

use xxxx instaed of name next time

3JinglesandnoBells · 10/12/2007 17:43

lol...absolutely fine...oh, and better mention that I wasn't sulking...just wasn't online, lol!

emkana · 07/01/2008 20:38

See, another AIBU thread of mine that went horribly wrong...

Anyway, quick update: dd2 now in knickers.

TheIceQueen · 07/01/2008 20:41

that's good emkana.....DS1 still in nappies

hatwoman · 07/01/2008 20:44

emkana - guess what? mine too. and without any of the methods suggested on this thread. story here

hatwoman · 07/01/2008 20:45

looking back feel a bit at my lack of restraint. but hey...

emkana · 07/01/2008 20:48

hatwoman, same here. dd just started only every having dry pull-ups, wanted to wear knickers, now wears knickers. Done, no training required.

hatwoman · 07/01/2008 20:55

we can champion the let them do it themselves approach (without being cocky or arrogant, of course)
