Since the pandemic started really..it’s all seemed strange, some points I’ve convinced myself things are normal, but it’s there deep down bugging me. I just find it all so odd, the pushing of vaccines on young people for incentives, no real discussion being allowed apart from what is presented to us. Is this normal?! Or is it me that’s not 🤷🏻‍♀️Does anyone else feel like this?

Considering that you said secularism is a trick by the devil and that Satan has the hearts and minds of most people I'd say it relates quite a lot.

It is a trick.
A wonderfully executed one.

What kind of person sits in judgement of those who have been fooled?
Not somebody who believes in Jesus.
Jesus did not much bother himself with believers. He spent his life down in the metapphorical trenches, saving the souls of the prostitutes, the thieves and the degenerates. He only sought to deliver souls from evil.

To condemn the sin but never the sinner

To show absolute love to mankind.

How could I defy Jesus by judging another person negatively due to a lack of belief, when there but by his very grace go I?

Hueylewisandtheviews · 03/08/2021 15:56

@ZednotZee Are you saying this is all being done by Satan and things will get worse? Sorry, not religious and it’s pretty confusing.

You are a fucking whack a doodle! And dangerous to boot

A trick that people, at least in the west, are now allowed to live a life without religion?

I think I'm on Satan's side.

ArnoldJudasRimmer · 03/08/2021 16:05

Well I started reading thinking this would be about politicians and science, etc., now Satan has entered the ring. 😂

Yes @DeleteSystem32, I think I'm team Satan after reading through!

ZednotZee · 03/08/2021 16:05

I believe that the governments of most nations are comprised of those who are simply, for want of a better term, puppets.

The puppet masters are guided by Satan.

I believe that he has a hand in every powerful pie of contemporary society. Governmental policy makers, the media, Hollywood, the Vatican.

I believe that the contemporary narratives are almost wholly of his making and that he has more control over the world at this point than God.

Yes, I believe that things will become worse.

I believe that there will be a one world government within the next twenty years, I believe in the rising of the antichrist and the mark of the beast, and no the vaccine is not and currently has nothing to do with that mark.

I believe that the vaccine is benign but its mandation is to set a precedent for the mandation of other things so that by the time we are having the mark foist upon us, accepting mandatory interferences as prescribed by government will be second nature.

I believe in the second coming of Christ within our lifetime to save our souls and that he will defeat Satan and that we shall be given eternal life.

Religion is not synonymous with belief.

And whether you are being facetious or not you will be included in my prayers.

Entered the ring? He's the ring master

Hueylewisandtheviews · 03/08/2021 16:09

@ZednotZee Who are the puppet masters being guided though?

@ZednotZee

I hope you're not talking to your patients about "Satan".

Why ever would you think that I would I engage in a religious discussion with my patients? Hmm

Oh they're patients now are they? I thought you worked in a carehome? Aren't they residents?
sunflowerstory · 03/08/2021 16:10

Classic Satan - simultaneously pulling off the 'greatest trick' of convincing people he doesn't exist, and also being a Kardashian-level networker.

ZednotZee · 03/08/2021 16:12

@ZednotZeeWho are the puppet masters being guided though?

Well, you'll get conspiracy theorists who believe its the rothschilds etc.

I don't.

If I had to guess I'd put my money on demons.
Satan's actual minions and those who have agreed to sell their souls for absolute power in this life.

Religion is not synonymous with belief.

And whether you are being facetious or not you will be included in my prayers.

But it's because of secularism that people can go through life without religion or belief.

And please don't fucking patronise me.

DeleteSystem32 · 03/08/2021 16:13

believe in the second coming of Christ within our lifetime to save our souls and that he will defeat Satan and that we shall be given eternal life.

Have fun with that, but I think I'll give it a miss.

ZednotZee · 03/08/2021 16:14

Oh they're patients now are they? I thought you worked in a carehome? Aren't they residents?

Residents when I'm at the nursing home and patients when I'm at the surgery.
For shorthand I use patients as I am providing nursing care to them irrespective of the setting.

ZednotZee · 03/08/2021 16:16

I don't believe that going through life in the absence of belief is helpful nor optimal.

Religion does far more harm than good IMHO.

And if you believe that including you in my prayers is patronising then I can only assure you that this was never my intention and you shall continue to be included in them as I wish all good blessings upon you.

DeleteSystem32 · 03/08/2021 16:19

Oh they're patients now are they? I thought you worked in a carehome? Aren't they residents?

Not for long.

So you think I should have belief forced on me? And your patients? Even though I'm happier without it?
DeleteSystem32 · 03/08/2021 16:21

I've never had anyone tell me they'll pray for me without it being insulting or patronising.

ZednotZee · 03/08/2021 16:23

No. I don't believe in forcing beliefs upon anybody.

The way to grace is through Christ. Not through mandation of anything.

Certainly not belief.

God gave us free will so that we may exercise this.

thepeopleversuswork · 03/08/2021 16:23

Anyone else interested and slightly disturbed by the large prevalence of antivaxx belief (and generally fairly scary beliefs) among people who work in the healthcare system?

Time and time again I have come onto these threads and the tin-foiliest posts often come from people who are or claim to be nurses, care home workers, midwives etc (though interestingly never doctors or scientists).

Why are so many people who are directly responsible for the health of others, to put it politely, so lacking in scientific rigour?

malificent7 · 03/08/2021 16:24

Pandemics have gappened throughout hustory...from the plague to the Spanish flu and I bet conspiracies were rife then. But i bet if vaccines were available in the past people would have gone crazy for them!

Hueylewisandtheviews · 03/08/2021 16:24

@ZednotZee Why now though? Why’s it all happening now?

OP posts:
ZednotZee · 03/08/2021 16:26

I'm not anti vax.

I took my mother for her second dose of Pfizer at 11.50 this morning. She is CEV and she needs to be vaccinated despite being on immunosuppressive meds that mean she, in all likelihood won't mount an adequate response.

ponyexpress22 · 03/08/2021 16:29

I don't think anyone can predict when that would be tbh.
