Can’t shake the feeling that something is weird/wrong?

Since the pandemic started really..it’s all seemed strange, some points I’ve convinced myself things are normal, but it’s there deep down bugging me. I just find it all so odd, the pushing of vaccines on young people for incentives, no real discussion being allowed apart from what is presented to us. Is this normal?! Or is it me that’s not 🤷🏻‍♀️Does anyone else feel like this?

I know I have to be careful, because I can be quite gullible and naive, by my own admission. I'm easily influenced too.
I should clarify, that I don't, for a single second think that there's a grand conspiracy, or that Covid is a fiction, or any of that. It's more that I have a deep distrust of big pharma, and the vast profits they make etc. That causes me to question a few things.
I have to say though that I think it's unhelpful, and not kind, to accuse people who are wondering things, of stupidity. We all have gaps in our knowledge. Every single one of us. Humans aren't nearly as evolved or sophisticated as we like to think we are. It's natural that we try to make sense of an exceptionally odd time in human history in any way we can find. I wouldn't be rude to anyone about it. Even full-on conspiracy theorists. Though I disagree with them, writing them off as stupid doesn't help anyone. It also possibly adds fuel to the fire? I'm not sure what the solution is, and I'm in an almost permanent state of confusion about everything these days!

@Lillilalique

As for the "depopulation" agenda - seems odd to take out all the healthcare professionals and scientists (who will overwhelmingly be vaccinated) in favour of people whose skillset seems to consist entirely of watching YouTube videos and whining on Facebook. No??
Exactly. Why would the government want to cull all of us compliant vaccinated "sheeple"? Why would they want to be left in charge of all these radical free-thinkers who won't do their bidding? It's almost like the virus might be worse... Wink

It’s all seemed strange, some points I’ve convinced myself things are normal, but it’s there deep down bugging me. I just find it all so odd.
I have felt for a long time now that things feel very off. I am also an empath and more sensitive in general.
Instinctively something feels odd.
Of course there is something bigger going on, I just don't know what yet.
Something big is coming. It's just the start.
Something incredibly sinister about it all.
To me, it has become apparent that the agenda is evil.
I can see a connection there even if it's only in my own head.
I can't help but the get the feeling something else is at play here.
There is definitely something wrong - this is a cover for something much bigger going on behind the scenes.
Something is most definitely off with this whole thing.
I’ve had these weird feelings too over the last year or so.

Just a little round-up here. Not a single, solitary shred of rational thought or evidence (and no, social media shite-posting isn’t “evidence”), just I’ve-got-a-funny-feeling-in-my-big-toe wittering with a side order of paranoia and religious nut-jobbery. At times like this I wonder how our ancestors ever made it out of the caves.

A pandemic has been predicted for years and years. When I was working it was always one of the scenarios included in business continuity planning.

Geamhradh · 03/08/2021 09:43

@x2boys

The 60% vaccinated the pp refers to aren't ill, no. They don't exist. As clarified (most widely in the press in the immediate aftermath of the person saying it) he meant to say "unvaccinated".

That posters dress up stuff they've heard on TV as "in my local area" "someone I know" to further their own agenda is a bit desperate really. Especially as I'm sure were it true, we'd all be able to read about it as the poster would give us a link.

I'm waiting for the govt to announce that aliens are among us and that they were just waiting for Covid to be done before hitting us with more shit news Wink

@WanderingFruitWonderer Yes, I’m the same as you and totally agree with what you’re saying

Lots of things come out many many years later that were debunked at the time as not being correct or just air brushed away
Look at the cases of child abuse or mums having their children taken away at birth , things that were ( sadly) ' accepted' as one of those things , yet now people are coming forwards to say just his bad it was. Papers released about WW2 sometimes show things in a different light to the one states at facts at that time. Things that all happened decades ago.
The scientists were baffled at first how to deal with this pandemic and they have been studying this all their lives, so for the average person to get their heads around it is even harder to work out. I can see why people are skeptical to be honest and I'm not a covid denier and have had both vaccines. I'm aware I can still get this virus but I also understand people who say ' well, why have the vaccine , then ?' It's hard to argue with them when they have this mind set! They don't want the vaccine , you can't force people to have it, but that's the way it's heading it seems.
I have heard of a few NHS workers and paramedics who don't want the jabs too. What do they know that we don't ?
There are too many things we don't know and that adds fuel to the fires especially the ones anti everything or think I am a ' sheep ' for having the jabs done!

the80sweregreat · 03/08/2021 09:56

To be fair, a few articles I've read online do hint that a bigger virus might be on its way , that this is but the ' warm up act ' so to speak.
How true it is, I've no idea, but it's all out there.
I hope it's all wrong of course!

DeleteSystem32 · 03/08/2021 10:06

I work in healthcare.

@ZednotZee

Oh god, I really hope not.

The NHS workers who dont want the injections dont know any more than you or i, they are not developing them When i worked in the NHS we used to get offered the Flu vaccine yearly, i had it once and i felt rough for a few days after so refused it in subsequent years, not because i thought it was dangerous, i just didnt want to feel ill for a few days.

I work in healthcare.

@ZednotZee

Oh god, I really hope not.

AS is your friend. Everything in life is possible. All I can say is, the sheer quantity of posts over the last few months must mean it's a slow day on the ward/carehome/surgery.
ZednotZee · 03/08/2021 10:26

Why would it be a bad thing for me to work in healthcare?

Because I believe we are currently experiencing the tribulations as prophesied by scripture?

I shouldn't be providing healthcare because of my beliefs, is that it?

ZednotZee · 03/08/2021 10:26

Prophesised

I agree about stuff that was concealed in the past - but none of that was a world wide plot - and now it would be much more difficult to keep quiet.
foxandbee · 03/08/2021 10:38

I agree with DynamoKev. Social media has made a massive difference. Things that were kept secret in the 20th century would be much more likely to be uncovered now.

Because you are putting religion before science, and rambling on about Satan like a deranged person.

Not that I believe you really work in healthcare.

CandyLeBonBon · 03/08/2021 10:53

*Why would it be a bad thing for me to work in healthcare?

Because I believe we are currently experiencing the tribulations as prophesied by the insane ramblings of possibly mentally unwell men, translated and rewritten multiple times, from and to multiple languages, and often edited to fit with the contemporary legal, political and cultural convictions of the time scripture?*

Fixed that for you!

Echobelly · 03/08/2021 11:19

@Dongdingdong - I meant there isn't some scary secret, nefarious benefit specifically for the government, as some seem to be implying or outright saying - of course it has the benefit of opening things up.

I rarely see people berated for having gaps in their knowledge.

They are usually berated because they don't admit they have gaps in their knowledge. But they then started speaking as though they do have the knowledge and spread lies.

Its not the knowledge gaps that's the issue.

It's the Dunning Kruger effect iirc. People think they know things they don't, and blindly adhere to the belief they're correct, and when presented with indisputable evidence to the contrary have to make more and more outlandish claims to support their ideas.
