Can’t shake the feeling that something is weird/wrong?

Since the pandemic started really..it’s all seemed strange, some points I’ve convinced myself things are normal, but it’s there deep down bugging me. I just find it all so odd, the pushing of vaccines on young people for incentives, no real discussion being allowed apart from what is presented to us. Is this normal?! Or is it me that’s not 🤷🏻‍♀️Does anyone else feel like this?

@Mummyford it's called the mark of the beast, not the mark, makes it just a little bit more difficult to fit your narrative.

It was also touted when barcodes were introduced that the mark of the beast would be a barcode tattooed on to your forehead.

I think people are scared because many of us haven't been confronted with a global pandemic in our lifetimes. And the world is getting steadily more willing to believe conspiracy theories because our governments are so frequently doing something horrible behind the scenes (or in our faces).

The rise of conspiracy theorists in the last few years, and especially since Covid, is terrifying, though. I've seen my mum's best friend go from a completely 'normal' middle aged woman, to someone getting divorced and screaming at my mum, putting the phone down because my mum refused to listen to her latest breathlesss rant about how the government is trying to kill 50% of the population via 5G. She doesn't go outside much any more, because of the '5G radiation'. Just sits on Facebook, hyping herself into a panic.

She started by asking this kind of question - doesn't everything feel weird - and nobody answered "yep, it's a pandemic, we'll be okay eventually, just buckle in and keep safe". Instead, the "right" people found her tweets and told her a load of bollocks and now she's lost her husband, her adult son won't speak to her and her friends are giving up. It's sad, really. But she won't listen.

This is a very rare example, you cannot say because someone feels a bit ‘off’ about something that this is their destiny. What I really do not understand is why someone can’t raise questions or concerns without being a conspiracy theorist or anti vaxxer. Hasn’t op already said she is double jabbed?

Well I suppose they are in a way-but by a novel virus that the world is still learning how to deal with rather than some sort of sinister cabal.
