Something I've been thinking about recently, and had a discussion with friends. Were you in love with the first person you had PIV with?

I was not. Had a BF, I did like him, everyone else was at it, so we did it.

I thought so, but like a PP, I was 15, I definitely didn't. I was comfortable with him though, I don't regret it being him.

Yes, I had been in love for a while beforehand. The desperately-in-love feeling actually lifted as soon as we’d slept together, and was replaced by something much calmer. We did stay together for years afterwards though!

No. I was 16, he was 18. He was my first boyfriend. Nice guy and I liked him but I knew I didn't love him/he wasn't forever.
It was a good first time and he was the right person at the right time to do it with though.

Yes - I was 16 he was 19 when we met
We were together for over a year before we had sex (after I turned 17) he didn’t push it - although we did a lot of non penetrative stuff first
Stayed together for a few years including getting engaged - I was the one to end it as I wanted to travel and he wanted to buy a house and settle down
I look back on it with extreme fondness that I started my sex life off in such a loving secure relationship which I really needed after having been sexually abused as a child
