Cheeky fckery

Hmmmm I have never come across much cheeky fckery before I must say

But my cousin is taking the fcking biscuit right now

Not heard from him in years
Random call few weeks back to ask if he could help to cut down some trees on my land (we never asked him to do so)

So few weeks later
He has made his way to one of our lovely areas of land with huge tractors - made a total mess

Got a random guy to come cut trees - no idea who he is but he throws his litter on the road every day for us to pick up

Now I would say he has cut down 40 trees
Looks like my cousin is building something and has seen the price of timber so tried to pretend he was doing us a favour

I'm raging with him
He has left such a mess

If I say something my elderly father will get upset but it just pisses me off so much I'm tempted to put a lock on the gate so he can't take the rest of the trees away 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I'm furious for you.

We have ranch/farm in the US and we had our share of cheeky fuckers during the time when my husband and I were buying out his brother and father making us the sole owners. People were using the excuse that my brother-in-law or father-in-law had given them permission to partake in the cheeky fuckery.

Examples; for several days we saw dump trucks full of sand/soil going down the road heading towards town. Never thought much about it until we went up the road and saw diggers/loaders filling dump trucks with our real estate. They'd created a big quarry! A woman there put her hands on hips ready to take us on when we drove up!! They said my husband's father told them they could help themselves many years before. He wouldn't have done that because it's ridiculous!

I was peacefully sitting by the creek with my little boy when gun fire erupted right behind me. The duck hunters said my brother-in-law gave them permission - again years before. He did not..

Neighbor cut a barbed wire fence and drove about 200 head of hungry and thirsty cattle onto our land and had the cheek to argue that our land now belonged to the bank (??!!) and the bank wouldn't mind. We called the sheriff and he got them on trespass charges.

People dumping their household rubbish and also old appliances and even an old car in a ravine up in the hills - said my long gone father-in-law lets them do it.

In all of these instances I went apeshit. I have the reputation of having an explosive unhinged temper and it's been probably 25 years since we've been taken advantage of.

It's shocking what people do.

Queenie6655 · 14/08/2021 16:40

@MariposaLilly oh my gosh

Why would anyone think that is ok???

And yes I accept responsibility for this

Just never thought he would have the cheek to return

Have the fucker arrested!!

freeingNora · 14/08/2021 17:27

Send him and his friend a bill for the wood take him to the small claims court. You can do it yourself he needs to pay for this wood end of

HyacynthBucket · 14/08/2021 20:53

2Why are yuu allowing him to come back time and time again? You say he cut down more trees this morning, and later on that he had returned to take the wood away. So what did you do to stop him?
Are you a complete and utter coward or something. You certainly do not deserve to have the privilege of looking after land and what grows on it. Trees are precious and you are not a good custodian. Even now it seems you are not stopping him from this destruction. What is the matter with you? If this post is for real, I despair. Grow a spine and some sensibility.

@Queenie6655

Police have been called

Thing is I don't live there it is my fathers land and a neighbour had agreed to help us manage things

I drove by today and he was down with his tractor and trailer collecting what he cut early this morning

So you obviously stopped him taking the wood....
TracyLords · 14/08/2021 23:24

Have you actually told him to stop cutting down the trees and stop taking the wood?

HurryUpAndWait23 · 15/08/2021 00:23

I'm confused. In the OP you said it's your land but in your second to last post you said it was your fathers land.
Which makes quite a big difference.

Im probably misunderstanding something though?

QueenBee52 · 15/08/2021 00:41

OP's Father has Dementia, the land is her Fathers and Hers 🌸

Keeva2017 · 15/08/2021 03:11

Are you actually doing anything other than calling him names on here? You come across as totally ineffective.

So you stopped him and phoned the police that someone was stealing from you there and then?
youshallnotpass9 · 15/08/2021 03:51

And if you didn't there is a massive reason why he will keep coming back and its not because he is a cheeky fucker, its because you are being a fucking doormat

BlackAlys · 15/08/2021 04:43

Did you stop him taking the wood?

What have you said to him?

What was his reply?

HurryUpAndWait23 · 15/08/2021 07:40

@QueenBee52

OP's Father has Dementia, the land is her Fathers and Hers 🌸

Thanks QueenBee. I did read the OP's posts but there were quite a few so missed it.

I guess the issue is, if the cousin did have the conversation with the father and did get the permission then it's harder for the OP to put her foot down even though she knows cousin is exploiting a vulnerable person.

He sounds like a terrible person, the cousin.

Dumbitdown · 15/08/2021 08:13

Trespassing, felling without a licence, theft, trading in stolen goods, damage to property, elder abuse... Report every incident to the police and speak with your solicitor first thing tomorrow about what evidence needs to be gathered in order to potentially build a case against him. Whether you irk at the idea of confrontation or not, you have a responsibility to not let this man carry on like this, especially if he is stealing off your neighbour too.

CorianderBee · 15/08/2021 13:47

Sue him. If he's deforesting your land for profit without a contract then fucking sue him!

Sick of people on here being so afraid of upsetting family that they let people rob them blind. SUE THE BASTARD

CorianderBee · 15/08/2021 14:07

Oh and he's snuck onto your land and felled more trees without a licence and stolen them?

Would you let him break into your house and steal £20,000? No? Then why the fuck are you letting him do the same through your land??

Buckle up, get some guts and fucking have him ARRESTED.

CorianderBee · 15/08/2021 14:08

Stop being such a fucking wet wipe. He doesn't give a shit how you feel or think so why should you in return?
