Unless she showed up and was sick on the day and couldn't fully do her job due to sickness then there's no need for her to disclose her pregnancy 😒

I mean I could understand you being a little bit ‘concerned’ if her due date was the same time as your wedding. But since it’s not, surely it’s the same as your hairdresser being pregnant. It’s irrelevant.

If it is to do with a risk assessment for her being pregnant - she will probably have this in hand as I assume she is self employed and you are the customer.

If there is some reason the pregnancy will prevent her attending then yes, she should tell you that she can't attend (the reason is her business).

Everything else - YABU.

I could kind of see your point if it meant that she would not be able to photograph your wedding and was going to send someone else instead. But if she’s months from her due date then no.

I can’t think why you take issue, unless it’s because of something bridezilla-y, like her getting attention because of the bump and it taking it away from you. But that would be ridiculous so please don’t admit if it’s something like that.

Maybe she's included in the seating plan and the OP has to come up with alternatives for the sushi and cheese courses?
That's the only scenario I can possibly think of where this information would be at all relevant.

What difference would it have made?

Why does it matter and why the hell would you think its any of your business?!

The only time it would be relevant would be if you were planning some sort of "extreme" wedding (skydiving/scuba diving etc) or it involved some sort of activity/venue that would be unsafe for a pregnant person.
