Aldi's black pepper crackers. They are literally crack to me ;)
But not their skincare. Tried loads as always taken in by hype around them..always binned them. Burnt my skin to pieces

Revolution London eye palettes..much prefer to more premium such as Huda or Too Faced in terms of staying power
Vaseline in the little tin . I always have about a million on the go. No other lip product really work for me. Ok Eight Hour Cream is great for lips, but it's not cheap. The Aldi version of it is awful..
Not a brand..but.. just discovered borage oil. Perfect for my skin type (at night ) and ridiculously cheap
Weleda's Skin Food & Lush's Dream Cream. Both cleared up the stubborn eczema under my eyes which was terribly ageing now I've turned 50. Nothing had worked.. I'd tried everything in the last yr or so...
Lush Big shampoo.. best thing for my oily limp hair. Ok not cheap but it's reasonable to me for results. Put it on dry hair first, rinse out, then add more. It means I can go two days now between washes. But only if I use on dry hair for the first application

alltoomuchrightnow · 15/06/2021 23:17

Kiko makeup... most of it.. wonderful range and quality, always big offers on

alltoomuchrightnow · 15/06/2021 23:18

and.. magic sponge erasers. I chop them up. Don't really need anything else.. gave up on bleach long ago

JaceLancs · 15/06/2021 23:19

Aldi lighter than light Mayo

HandforthParishCouncilClerk · 15/06/2021 23:54

Sainsbury’s ketchup
Boots curl cream
George at Asda children’s clothes
Primark control pants are way better than spanx
Aldi do a pizza that DS absolutely loves, with roasted tomatoes, pesto and big bits of mozzarella on
Lidl gin

RikkiTikkiTavvi · 16/06/2021 09:05

Vosene shampoo - makes hair really shiny and soft (but not great for coloured hair as it can strip the colour)
Cerave esp the hyaluronic serum
Non-branded painkillers
Soda crystals- multi purpose. Mix with white vinegar for cleaning, using to descale/clean washing machine, getting stains out of mugs, etc.
White vinegar- cleaning, etc.
Sainsburys ketchup
Astonish in wash stain remover
Washing up liquid for removing grease stains before washing clothes (basic green one from Aldi, not a fancy one)

BikeRunSki · 16/06/2021 09:30

I washed my hair with the DC’s Vosene last night and am pleasantly surprised.

ouchmyfeet · 16/06/2021 10:47

I love a bit of vosene too

Whyhello · 16/06/2021 10:50

Pretty much anything from Aldi. Their products are as good if not better than the branded versions and they cost half the price.

Takenoprisoner · 16/06/2021 13:22

@RikkiTikkiTavvi
How are you using the white vinegar to descale washing machine? I'm interested to know! Tia.

Tesco's own brand veggie pizza Sooo good!!

Chicago town pizza - way better than dominos or Pizza Hut- both have weird after taste to it

If you like coconut, coconut yogurt from either aldi or Lidl, can't remember which store it was, it's so lovely for the price

Aldi brioche buns are the best ever!!! It's quite far from me so when I go I get plenty!

hellogem · 16/06/2021 16:25

A lot of hate on Heinz beans, I actually don't find them watery or is this new? Haven't bought baked beans in a long while, we barely eat it, the last time I bought a case of 12 Heinz beans it lasted us 18 months 🙈

hellogem · 16/06/2021 16:30

Tesco Stockwell and co Tomato ketchup, taste just like Heinz ketchup for only 43p!

hellogem · 16/06/2021 16:31

Is there a cheaper alternative to coke but tastes exactly like coke still??

SticksAndStoned · 16/06/2021 17:22

I don't rate it that highly, personally. I much prefer the Tesco own brand or Aldi/Lidls versions. Stockwell is okay, but others at the same price point are better.
Soontobe60 · 16/06/2021 17:24

Aldi Lacura serum. Love it!
www.aldi.co.uk/lacura-q10-multi-intensive-serum/p/080918177809600

IBelieveInAThingCalledScience · 16/06/2021 17:37

Aldi's Protein Yogurts (Brooklea) are so much better than expensive counterparts.

Pink stuff is a miracle and cleans just about anything.

White vinegar in the washing machine fabric softener dispenser gets rid of smell in lycra and sports clothes (we have tons every day here from all 4 of us!). It also makes towels fluffy and soft without affecting fibres and drying ability.

The best place for Astonish products seems to The Range, it's the only place I've found the laundry spray recently.

morepizza · 16/06/2021 18:22

@Ozanj

Elbow grease Aldi’s butter croissants - omg they take me back to France every time I have a bite. You can taste the butter! Dr Oetker’s Mushroom pizza Sainsbury’s own brand marscapone
My fav pizza ever on the planet, ridiculous that it's from a freezer!
SappysCurry · 16/06/2021 18:38

@SticksAndStoned
Stockwell and ‘the hearty food co’ are rebranded ‘Tesco value’ products
Sneaky Tesco !👎
I remember Sainsbury’s used to make a Mediterranean ketchup with basil and herbs it was so good but it’s discontinued now.
It was in the traditional glass bottle I loved that and have never been able to find a replacement. 🍅

Thanks - we have a range nearby
SappysCurry · 16/06/2021 18:54

@scrivette

Lidl tins of Gin and Tonic with grapefruit are fantastic, as are their packets of fake Twix which I think are better than the real thing.

Nivea Soft is amazing and so cheap. I suffer from dry skin and some of it at night time sorts it out by the morning. It's good as hand cream too and smells lovely.

Have you seen they are doing cases of 24 cans for £28 in four different flavours now 🍸🍸

It’s on the online shop only though ….

LadyofMisrule · 16/06/2021 18:55

Sainsbury's gold loose leaf tea, Better than any tea bags.
Aldi's Pimms equivalent.
Aldi deluxe frozen beef burgers
Aldi skin-on fries
Lidl coconut water
Aldi frozen stone-baked thin pizza
Aldi cava (gold bottle)
Aldi/Lidl own brand fruit ciders
Lidl European cheeses
Lidl Italian shortbread biscuits (seasonal)

I'm well aware, thanks. I used to work there!

My point still stands.

There are others too. Ms Molly's, H W Nevill, Growers Harvest off the top of my head
