Snag tights
Asda Rose and Oud double wick candle . It's £4 and I'd happily pay triple
Aldi day cream that looks like Elizabeth Arden
Comfort Outdoorable fabric softener. It makes everything smell fantastic.
Asda barbecue ribs. The family said they were better than the Harvester.
My air fryer. Any air fryer.

Twinkie01 · 15/06/2021 19:10

Ooohhh ribs. Iceland do THI Friday ones that DS loves!

Mmmcheese89 · 15/06/2021 19:13

Aldi spinach and ricotta cannelloni ready meal. It's better than I can make myself. It's cheaper. It's delicious.

I've gotten colleagues eating it and now we have 'cannelloni club'.

TheRealHousewife · 15/06/2021 19:17

@olivesnutsandcheeseplease

Morrison's do good gluten free pasta, normally around 60p
Thank you 🙏 I will venture out to get some of that pasta!

Abbott and Broome hand washes from Aldi. Absolute bargain at 65p, and as good as the market leader.

funinthesun19 · 15/06/2021 19:29

Alberto Balsam shampoo and conditioner- 90p each.

My hair has never been in better condition since using this stuff.
I used to spend of fortune on the expensive brands such as Aussie which were never really anything special like people make them out to be.

PattyPan · 15/06/2021 19:30

I’ve seen the gf bean spaghetti in aldi, I can’t remember how much but it wasn’t that expensive (it is aldi after all!)

I use soda crystals, bicarbonate of soda and/or vinegar to clean almost everything and they are all sooo cheap. Can’t believe how much cleaning sprays, de-scalers, fabric softener etc cost in comparison. Viakal = £2.50, vinegar for vinegar solution = 50p!

StrawberrySquash · 15/06/2021 19:33

Aldi Real McCoy's crisps. And the lentil curls.

TheDogsMother · 15/06/2021 19:40

Co-op Irresistible range Sea Salt and Chardonnay Vinegar crisps. Astonish Oven and Cookware Cleaner. Another vote for Branston Beans and Sainsbury's Micellar Water.

Whysolong7 · 15/06/2021 19:45

Collection concealer- unbelievable £4

That’s so good… Have you ever tried the Tesco one ? If not please don’t bother it’s tasteless Aldi Macaroni cheese is excellent too We have an Aldi flagship store opening nearby on Thursday so pleased

Lancashire farm yogurt at Sainsburys

Same price as own brand, really tangy and free range milk. Tastes way more expensive and doesn’t seem to be promoted at all.

Yes to Lancashire Greek yogurt! Absolutely delicious and only what - £1.80? - for a 1kg tub!

DH and I low carb and this is a breakfast staple!

SpindleWhorl · 15/06/2021 19:52

Thanks @PattyPan, I'll look out for that.

TheSockMonster · 15/06/2021 19:58

Thanks @MaMelon I’ll give it a try!

Ladylimpet · 15/06/2021 19:59

The new tins of beans in Aldi..(they're in a black coloured tin I think), they're nice, followed by Morrisons own. Much nicer than Heinz.
Aldi tonic-very nice.
Morrison's tomato ketchup. Just as nice as Heinz, and much cheaper!
If you like sweet chilli sauce try the world food isle. Get a massive bottle there. Much better value than just in the normal food section.

Imapotato · 15/06/2021 20:02

Lidl anti wrinkle cream. £1.50 a pot and I’ve been using it for 10 years. Everyone thinks I’m still in my 20s, but I’m actually 36! Grin

AnAwesomePossum · 15/06/2021 20:05

Lidl Diet Cola. I’m a convert - same price for a pack of six from one bottle of Coca Cola and tastes better.

LakieLady · 15/06/2021 20:07

@MsFogi

I NEED Boots to bring back Boots Curl Cream - I would pay a lot of money for this tub of pink goo.
Yes! Brilliant stuff. Can we start a campaign?
HazelBite · 15/06/2021 20:17

ASDA own brand pasta sauces, really good.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 15/06/2021 20:23

Have you tried the elbow grease sponge scrubber thing? Bright yellow, blooming excellent.
The mystery freezer in Heron. Big packs of all sorts of stuff, all misshapes of big names, but buttons.
Dh loves shampoo bars, especially Lush, which I won’t buy. I got some on offer from My Little Eco Shop, lots cheaper and identical. And the lemon one is making his hair blonde! 🤣🤣🤣

Summerhillsquare · 15/06/2021 20:33

Seconding Wilko nail varnish (gel type) and their mascaras. I have one with pink writing on black, cheap as chips and no clogging, doesn't flake off. Also soy wax Vila Hermanos candles in TKMaxx. Smell lovely, no nasty residues or smoke, better than many a pricy brand.

Orla1970 · 15/06/2021 20:40

Never thought I’d ever switch from Heinz beans but Sainsbury’s beans are lovely 4 tins for a pound.

Maybelline Colossol Waterproof Mascara about a fiver. Does not irritate my sensitive eyes either like expensive ones do.

Good old vaseline under your eyes at night instead of expensive eye cream

Johnson’s baby head to toe body wash. £1.50 500ml pump

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Aftersun about a fiver. I use it as body moisturiser all year round. Lovely smell

weaselwords · 15/06/2021 20:40

East End tinned chickpeas are beautiful big fluffy things and half the price of other brands. Baffles me why but I’m so glad they are!

Benjispruce3 · 15/06/2021 20:41

Perfume Parlour copy cat perfumes
St Moritz fake tan
The Ordinary skin products
Aldi skincare

bombis · 15/06/2021 20:44

Morrison's mozzarella cheese is really good. Also their aceto balsamic is great.
