If you voted for BJ, how are you feeling now, when even the man who masterminded his entire campaign is telling you BJ was never fit to be PM?

I’m interested to hear - if you voted for “Sovereignty,” or to “Take Back Control” or whatever, how does it now feel to discover that even the mastermind of the Brexit campaign had no confidence in the man he persuaded you to believe in and vote for?

Do you feel played? Which side will you be taking now - Team BJ? Or team DC?

@Whoarethewho

Fine because the choice of Jeremy Corbyn and the woke wing of the labour party was worse
This. ^ The thought of Jeremy Corbyn being Prime Minister sends chills through me! Shock

Why does it matter how many times Boris has been married or how many DC he has. To me what is important are the policies of the govt. he leads. And I think they are good policies and I support them

Are you happy with a PM and government that caused us to have the highest covid death toll in Europe?

Highest COVID death toll in Europe after Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Gibraltar, San Marino, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Slovakia, Belgium, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia and Poland, you mean?

www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/[/quote]
UKs death toll is the highest, you are looking at per capita and small countries skew the figures..... big difference.

UK is 5th highest death toll in the world and 17th per capita, again in the world.

We are supposed to be a first world country with a developed health service.

Shocking really that you defend this.

It matters Yellow because morals matter! bringing children into the world with zero intention of being a parent to them is wrong.

Anyone who does this, cannot be trusted to carry out these polices you say you support.

He is also having unprotected sex with numerous partners, highly irresponsible, i wonder if he has ever had an STi test?

I also doubt you would have cut Mrs May so much slack had she behaved in the same manner.

OwlTwitterings · 31/05/2021 21:13

As a rule I don’t trust or believe politicians. I certainly don’t believe DC either.

ChoccyLatte · 31/05/2021 21:30

Cummings is a snake and i have no regrets about Boris considering the alternative was Corbyn!

yellowspanner · 31/05/2021 22:35

Jasjas, we must disagree.
I am interested in a politician's politics not their morals. And whether they deliver on their promises. I vote for policies not morals.

NavalGazer · 31/05/2021 22:40

A lot of people also do't believe in going out to work to provide taxes to pay people to stay at home who have made crap choices in their lives and expect the tax payer to pick it up.

Every one has an education - fuck around, fail your exams and drop out - on you. Want to be miss or mr popular and suffer - your choice.

No one has to have a child - until 22 weeks every female has a choice so getting pregnant is no excuse. you may not want to make the choice but at least own it.

caringcarer · 31/05/2021 22:46

I'm happy with BJ and Conservative party. They said they would get us out of EU and they did it. The sky did not fall in. We did not have 30 mile queues at Dover. Large companies did not relocate into EU and we did not have mass unemployment Labour predicted we would get. Soon we will have the Freeport's. They will create more jobs. I feel happy about who o voted for and my adult children the same.

Moonmelodies · 31/05/2021 22:51

I couldn't vote for BJ, even if I wanted to, as he didn't stand in my constituency.

BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 31/05/2021 22:55

Telling people they voted wrong

always a winning strategy

Justanotherlurker · 31/05/2021 22:59

Not who you was replying to, but yes there is a big difference which you failed to acknowledge in your original assertion, one big difference is population density which cannot be blamed on the Tory Government.

UK is 5th highest death toll in the world and 17th per capita, again in the world.

Actually we are 7th behind France, which, if we ignore turkey still proves you have got your knowledge from headlines and twitter, I think it is time for you to go back to your Labour/Momentum facebook group and get better stats.

Highest COVID death toll in Europe after Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Gibraltar, San Marino, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Slovakia, Belgium, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia and Poland, you mean

Probably because we have more people than

Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Gibraltar, San Marino, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Slovakia, Belgium, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia and Poland,

If we look at deaths per 100,000 then we start to see the real picture and we are down the list and falling daily.

Bythemillpond · 01/06/2021 00:30

If you are going to mention places like San Marino and look at their 90 deaths from a population of 33,860. Compared to the U.K. that translates into more than 180,000 deaths.

Chloemol · 01/06/2021 00:35

I hardly think Cummings is telling the truth, he’s a manipulator and manipulating people like you op to believe what he wants you to

You are falling for it

Chloemol · 01/06/2021 00:39

Do we? We all count differently, so until we all do the same

SarahBellam · 01/06/2021 01:59

Everyone has always known Boris is an overinflated piece of shit with a poor grasp of the truth and the credibility of a rancid sock. That’s been well and widely documented. Even his closest gaggle of supporters know not to trust him. Cummings is so far up his own arse he can comfortably lick the back of his teeth. Neither of them are worthy of trust.

Well, do you agree with allowing private tenants to now be evicted for rent arrears today? Hardly a moral policy! esp during a pandemic.

600 migrants have crossed the channel over the last few weeks, there is no means to return any of them to the first country they first arrived at.
Patel told us she would stop this, she hasn't at all, its increasing & deportations are falling.

If Cummings is a snake who can never be believed, then considering he was the mastermind behind Johnsons Brexit campaign what does that tell us?
Why was he believed then?
DC was also the brains behind the disastrous school reforms led by Gove.

You all believed him then.

Not according to Worldometers, which was the link posted by Tangled above, who seems to support Bojo.

Worldometers is a responsible source of CV information, if you try them, you can click on each header and look at the different methods of counting deaths, infections etc.

I don’t think you should be pointing out further just how shit this government has been.

They’re allowed to claim asylum here. Hardly surprising they would - can you imagine how shit things must be to cross the world to a racist little country that we’ve become. Coming from a country which has, no doubt, been bombed to shit by weapons sold by the UK.

newnortherner111 · 01/06/2021 08:10

@yellowspanner please tell us which of Mr Johnson's policies you like? Any of those that have come to reality? I would not really count Brexit given Northern Ireland being still part of the EU in all but name.

"@yellowspanner please tell us which of Mr Johnson's policies you like? Any of those that have come to reality? I would not really count Brexit given Northern Ireland being still part of the EU in all but name."

She /he appears to like/love the deportation policy of any person perceived to be "illegal".

BigWoollyJumpers · 01/06/2021 09:12

@ilovesooty

If Johnson was aware of the Indian variant as early as the Times has reported and failed to act at the time he is profoundly unfit to lead the country. I really can't see how anyone deemed him fit in the first place.
It's not his call though. He takes advice from the scientists. Nervtag and JCVI etc. The scientists were aware, but the varient was firstly only under investigation, and then later on the watch list, then later still a varient of concern. The moment it went on to the list of concern the government introduced restrictions. You can't have it both ways. Either you listen to your scientists or you don't.

The problem is always that lockdowns aren’t without consequence and some of those consequences are arguably more serious than coronavirus.
