They are keeping Andrew out the way, arent they?

On the bbc news, 3 out 4 of the queen's children wished to say something in tribute to their father...

Andrew is obviously been kept on the back burner. They must know there's only so much the less fawning of us can take.

OP posts:
CallmeHendricks · 13/04/2021 21:12

"there's about 30 just this year standing. "
And how many more have been deleted? Dozens. You must surely know that.

Roussette · 13/04/2021 21:14

If dozens have been deleted, (no idea how many) then it's obvious they were particularly vile and abhorrent.

CathyorClaire · 13/04/2021 21:21

To be fair, who can remember everyone they spoke to twenty years ago. I certainly can’t, and people are more likely to remember meeting him because of who he is, rather than the other way around

Well, yes. But he was photographed with her in a private setting and accused of a bit more than speaking to her a very short time later.

If he can clearly recall a run of the mill Pizza Express jolly for another kid's birthday surely a friend's private mews house venue might be even more memorable?

SueSaid · 13/04/2021 21:26

'Please, keep defending accused rapists with a long history of links to corruption and arms dealers. It makes you look brilliant that you're so desperate to defend Prince Andrew. '

Oh fgs. I'm not defending him. If there is evidence then let the fbi use whatever protocols they must surely have to question foreign nationals, not arresting out of there jurisdiction obvs, just you know liaising with other forces etc. If he's guilty of sex offences then of course he should be held to account. All your facts look very shaky though tbh. As others have said having an arm round someone and not recalling it decades later is totally believable. I worry that people like you actually may serve on a jury.

I wonder if those who were allegedly trafficked kept recorded or filmed evidence. I expect we'll find out at Maxwell's trial..

SueSaid · 13/04/2021 21:31

Their*

Alsohuman · 13/04/2021 21:37

As a matter of interest, have any of the other rich and powerful men implicated been prosecuted or questioned by the FBI?

CathyorClaire · 13/04/2021 21:40

As others have said having an arm round someone and not recalling it decades later is totally believable

Depends on the context.

An intimate (have you seen the size of mews houses ?!) private setting makes it markedly less forgettable IMO.

ImpatiensI · 13/04/2021 21:45

@ohforarainyday

I know very well they do but not everyone tries to shut ppl up by use of manipulative technique.

Yes, it's very hard when someone asks for facts, isn't it?

So much easier to scream abuse and hurl false accusations around.

It's honestly quite frightening how how determined you are to silence anyone who doesn't share your pro-Andrew opinions.

What a dishonest hypocrite response.
Roussette · 13/04/2021 21:52

As a matter of interest, have any of the other rich and powerful men implicated been prosecuted or questioned by the FBI?

They are starting at the top with Ghislaine. There's a 418 page deposition in which she avoids questions on the other 'rich and powerful'.
I have no idea what is happening behind the scenes.

Trial set to begin 12 July.

Alsohuman · 13/04/2021 22:18

So the answer in short is no. All these other guys are just getting on with their lives and everyone’s cool with that.

Babygotblueyes · 13/04/2021 22:19

And would you really say it wasnt your arm and had been photoshopped in? Would you not just say you did not remember? Why would you go to such ludicrous lengths if you were not guilty.
Roussette · 13/04/2021 22:41

Alsohuman

The answer is not 'no'.
The answer is I don't know. The NY justice system doesn't keep me informed Confused
The others cited live in US, not here. So who knows what is going on behind the scenes. I know Alan Dershowitz, who got Epstein off a lot of his 2005 charges, and is implicated in this, has been fighting back
But as there will be a lot of trial preparation for July, i doubt it's being reported on as that will jeopardise the case.
Hope that explains it for you Grin

SueSaid · 14/04/2021 07:48

'The answer is not 'no'. The answer is I don't know. The NY justice system doesn't keep me informed'

Exactly. You don't know about others and we don't actually know about Andrew. So until we do when talking about any alleged offences you should always say alleged.

Roussette · 14/04/2021 08:02

Which is why I said this in my previous post...

'And allegedly sleeping with trafficked minors'

derxa · 14/04/2021 08:19

Les tricoteuses

Roussette · 14/04/2021 08:26

Is that directed at me derxa ?

KarensChoppyBob · 14/04/2021 08:59

Well you apparently are!?

There was some logic to your arguments before this, albeit I disagreed, now proper straw man territory.

Let's deal with them one at at a time hey? Starting in the UK?

forfucksakenett · 14/04/2021 09:11

Apologies for the Daily Mail screenshot but I wonder if there's any truth to this?

I never thought about it much but of course his choice of dress is likely to be quite significant in demonstrating his current role as a royal isn't it?

They are keeping Andrew out the way, arent they?
JustLyra · 14/04/2021 09:17

I don’t buy it. The Queen is pretty used to laying down the law about uniforms. By all accounts William got told which one he was wearing for his wedding, no negotiating.

I also cannot see the rest of the family, especially the likes of Princess Anne, putting up with him having any arguments or debate with the Queen atm.

derxa · 14/04/2021 09:30

It seems to me that some members of the Royal family need to start thinking of the Queen this week. Their attention seeking is appalling. Of course it is the ones who the Queen has indulged the most. Spoilt selfish brats.

ImpatiensI · 14/04/2021 09:39

The Daily Mail aren't going to let Andrew get away with any worming back.

PurpleWh1teGreen · 14/04/2021 10:15

If true, it is very telling. Or confirming in a no shit Sherlock he's an arse kind of way.

LadyEloise · 14/04/2021 10:21

All those ridiculous medals royalty wear and it's not just British royalty.
Have they truly earned them, helping their fellow men and woman, to make the world a better place ?
It's mostly tosh and laughable really.

Alsohuman · 14/04/2021 10:26

@KarensChoppyBob, it wasn’t intended to be a straw man. I just find it interesting that, despite a whole group of men being implicated in this none of them are ever mentioned. Nor is Ghislaine Maxwell who procured these poor women.

derxa · 14/04/2021 10:26

@PurpleWh1teGreen

Total arse
