Does anyone think there’s mileage in the idea that Corbett could have been Ted’s son? DH says no way, Corbett was already about nine when Anne Marie and Ted met, but we don’t know that for sure. They could go way back. The way he was crying when he said ‘So Corbett was Anne Marie’s wee fella?’

I mean, it's possible that Ted has lied, but the dates of him joining the RUC coincide with John Corbett being 5 years old, and him being 10 when his mum died. So unless he knew her 5 years before he joined the force, when he would have been very young indeed, I think it's unlikely.
