My children are off school with very bad colds (not covid!)
I want to see my friend at her house tonight we had this arranged however she's backed out last second saying that it's not a good idea to meet while my DC are poorly as she can't risk being unwell at the moment which has upset me as it's not covid and I'm not unwell.
Whose being unreasonable?

YOU !!! of course cold or covid,

MusicWithRocksIn1t · 17/03/2021 18:52

This is a joke right?

Notavegan · 17/03/2021 18:53

What a friend you are

Pumperthepumper · 17/03/2021 18:53

@Zarinea

I was musing the other day that one of the upsides of COVID is that people would become less blasé about coughing abs sneezing over each other. Clearly not.
I was thinking this too, it seems really weird now that people would wander in all snotty and miserable and everyone would just roll their eyes and accept they’d probably get it.
Stroppyshite · 17/03/2021 18:53

Well, now you know😉

FreeAt50 · 17/03/2021 18:54

You are. I wouldn't want to get a cold either and tbh how are you meeting inside each others homes anyway?

G3ntlemanJ · 17/03/2021 18:57

God, you are! How is this even a question for you?! Just because you're not ill doesn't mean you aren't carrying it. You could very easily make her ill.

toocold54 · 17/03/2021 18:57

This is obviously a reverse. So whoever has the poorly kids is in the wrong

One great thing about socially distancing/wearing masks is that I haven’t got any colds yet so if fuming if you knowing brought it around me

pilates · 17/03/2021 18:59

You

LemonSherbetFancies · 17/03/2021 19:00

You are.

Gazelda · 17/03/2021 19:01

Reverse, I presume.

No one could really be this clueless.

FenceSplinters · 17/03/2021 19:01

You are. Keep them off school too if they have bad colds.

VettiyaIruken · 17/03/2021 19:01

You are.
And if this is a reverse, you're a double one.

Alreadyinmypyjamas · 17/03/2021 19:04

Grow up.

Lordamighty · 17/03/2021 19:05

It’s you.

aibu2021 · 17/03/2021 19:05

No not been Covid tested. No not a reverse. They are off school.
I understand now I'm in the wrong, I just thought it being a bad cold was a bit ridiculous to not see someone.

OP posts:
gurglebelly · 17/03/2021 19:05

You are being completely unreasonable

SunshineLifeIsBest · 17/03/2021 19:06

Get them covid tested!

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 17/03/2021 19:06

Even worse if it’s a bad cold!

LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood · 17/03/2021 19:07

You are so unreasonable. Glad you realise it now. Hope your family is better soon.

FishWithoutABike · 17/03/2021 19:07

Get them tested and stop trying to spread your cold/covid germs.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 17/03/2021 19:07

I think you should test them. Even if it doesn’t exactly meet the three criteria, with these new variants the symptoms change a lot.

Otherwise you could be wandering about spreading it even if the DC are indoors.

grapewine · 17/03/2021 19:07

Don't be annoying and post reverses.

If you're serious: grow up and realise that nobody wants your germs!
