No side effects with Astra Zeneca!

Had AZ at the weekend. Was told side effects are very common!

Also I know a quite a few people who have had it and the vast majority have had side effects. Some feeling very ill.

I’ve not had a single side effect. I’m grateful I’m not feeling poorly but worry it’s not been as effective as it should be.

Literally everyone else I know who’s had it has had side effects.

Anyone else not had any side effects at all?

I had 36 hours of flu after AZ jab 4 weeks ago but this weekend had the same 36 hour flu. Tested negative
Anyone else had this?

I waited for side effects, expecting to need paracetamol and rest, but I felt fine. No ill effects at all.

Out of 6 of my friends I was the only one that didnt. I had a bit of a headache but nothing major.

I usually had annual flu jab with minimal side effects on the day, so I expected the same with the first AZ.

Not so. Horribly unwell for three days in a row & rest of the week feeling decked. Had I not been in isolation or had the AZ, I would have assumed that I’d picked up gastric flu or food poisoning. Checked in with GP who confirmed that my symptoms were congruent with known AZ side effects. Completed online yellow card to report side effects.

OH had his AZ the following week. As he has an auto-immune condition, he expected a reaction. Nothing, barely a sore arm for a day.
