I just think Mulan is iconic. Currently watching the new one

It's up there.
The cartoon version, not the live action.
But little mermaid is a classic.
Moana is pretty good too.

Brave is the best Disney film. Strong female lead and the music is magical.

Yes!! My husband was just saying the same thing. Plus the Donny Osmond song is my favourite Disney song of all time. It just never gets old.

I watched it with my niece (4) a while ago and she just couldn’t understand why girls couldn’t join the army bless her. She got a bit cross.

Nooooo mulan is way down the list. Robin Hood, Aladdin, moana, princess and the frog, are all way better than Mulan

I like Mulan (cartoon) but never one of my favourites. Especially when they set her up with obviously-gay-Shang at the end. Unnecessary.

Of the new ones, Moana has the best 'strong female' Disney story, Brave was good but a bit too heavy on 'female character is immature rather than knows her own mind'. I liked Rapunzel, but in hindsight the kidnapped baby story is a bit too dark. Frozen was absolute tosh.

Of the older classics, I loved BeBeauty and the Beast, shame Belle was such a disappointment in the end. Dumps the egotistical man for the emo grump when all she wanted was adventure and learning. The Once Upon A Time version covered this story MUCH better.

The Little Mermaid is the worst. Just no. Terrible story, terrible main character, terrible example for young people (especially girls).
