I like Only Connect, but my word, Victoria Coren Mitchell is, as my teenage DD would say, totally cringe.

YABVCMU - she's brilliant, it's our only unmissable telly in the week.

I love only connect and love Victoria. She's bloody brilliant.

DH and me record it and watch it with a five minute delay so we can fast forward any singing.

We love Only Connect and VCM, but that’s a cringe too far for us.

I find her wonderfully entertaining and hugely enjoyable to watch. I wish she presented everything.

I also cried out " noooo" when she said she was giving up tonight.. I think she should get the university challenge gig when paxman gives up, she'd be great.

We love the quiz although we are terrible at it but can't stand VCM as the presenter. Her jokes are dreadful and when she makes the teams sing I want to throw bricks at the screen. Also whoever chooses her clothes usually manages to make her look like an overstuffed sofa. However, it is nice to have a female presenter.

I love the quiz and she's great.

I often swear when the connection is made as some of them are so well thought out.

It's great to get a connection.

I think it's that combination of taking it seriously but also gently sending it up that she's just nailed. It's one of the few programmes that gets ds downstairs to watch, even though he rarely gets any right- unless it's gaming or marvel related.

Who would you prefer to host it? Someone less intelligent and more vapid, like most other tv hosts?

I love her its the only reason we watch it! Even get one or two of the answers occasionally although I do OK at the missing vowels round. I love her Michael Portillo jokes at the end, for some reason they make me so happy I am still chuckling to myself all through University Challenge.

Love Only Connect & VCM. I’d be so nervous if I ever met her IRL though. She seems like she wouldn’t suffer fools...

Absolutely love the show and VC. When DD1 got one question right after two clues I was the most proud I've ever been! It was a couple of years ago though.

Switch your brain off and put your mouth in gear. I'm often surprised at the answers I give. DH thought I was mad, but now he mumbles through them too. His hit rate has gone through the roof 😊

My DH is obsessed with this show, we have to watch it on YouTube as we don’t live in the UK. I like her, but I don’t find the intentionally unfunny jokes funny.

I want to go on OC just to meet her. She's marvellous. Intelligent, funny, and irreverent.

OC is probably one of only a few things I watch on television. I am pretty good at it too. It appeals to my way of thinking. We play each week - me vs DH and the DC.

we love it here ds2 is often malingering about and will hold off returning to The World of Gaming to spend half an hour with his Fam (me and dh) and we often do surprisingly well.

Did you see how cross the man on the losing team was tonight when she disallowed one of his answers and explained why? Quite early on.
And also how smug he was when he got the third group in the wall? And had to explain to us all about it being greek or something.

We are glad they did not win!
