Only Connect could be a great quiz....

I like Only Connect, but my word, Victoria Coren Mitchell is, as my teenage DD would say, totally cringe.

Nope, you're wrong! She's magnificent. Fully willing to be herself and doesn't care if you cringe. If I could be any famous person I'd be her (minus her husband, who seems lovely but I just don't fancy him.... And not sure I could stick being related to her utter twat of a brother either).

I quite like her! She has a very unique style. My theory is that her unfathomable jokes at the end of each episode are actually coded messages for the Secret Service.

Tonight's is the only episode I can recall where there's been singing. The cringe is on purpose. The Wall is the best bit.

I wish they'd move on from the Egyptian hieroglyphs.

They make them sing often, I'm never really sure why.

Yes I'm still enough of a nerd to consider it one of the best things on TV. But it would be better without the hieroglyphs.
