Not fussed on the show ‘cos I can’t fathom it, but I think she’s great.

I love the singing. The contestants are often so NOT extroverts, but they all join in. It's got the same vibe as pottery throw down or sewing bee. I love how vc gets the men of twitter upset. They can't understand her at all.

I respect your position OP... But I will not hear a word against VC.
If she were not married and I wasn't married... Well, that probably isn't the only thing in the way but it's always a pleasant thought.

I love her appreciation of the contestants. When she says ‘Good quizzing’ I always feel she really means it.

I love her - it's all part of the joke isn't it - I solved 3 what links them and 2 what comes nexts tonight AND most of the first wall - I'm drunk on my success

I don't watch it only because I usually don't have the faintest idea whats going on
I don't dislike VCM though even though she makes me feel as thick as 2 short planks

I think she's great! Me & DH love it, but the only way to watch is to record it, then put it on after a glass of wine or two and your finger on the pause button. The swotters who go on are too good, it's the only way to have a proper crack at it, especially the wall.

I could do without the ‘funny’ bits at the start and finish, but overall I think she and Only Connect are great. It’s fantastic to see an intelligent older woman on TV.

Ah I can’t imagine it without her! I find the jokes a bit silly but it sort of adds to the eccentricity feel of the show.

She is her Father's daughter - particularly when you read her written output!

How do you want her to act? It would be cringey to see someone trying too hard to be prim and proper.

I really miss the Walls you could play on the programme website - you could solve them online and for some reason the BBC got rid of them. VC made encouraging remarks when you failed miserably and you got the music when you solved one.

The unfunny jokes and the cringe worthy singing are the point! It's sort of post modern humour, taking the piss of every quiz host we saw in the 70s and 80s.

It's just a 90degree twist, that's all!

I love it but I wish the would stop the 'funny' intros.

And the thing about the 2 producers, just an excuse to say unpronounceable names and hint at a time paradox/alternative universe... or someone living right in the edge of sanity!

I absolutely love her - she's my 'girl crush'. She did a funny bit at the end tonight where she pretended she was leaving the show and for a moment I thought "nooooooo"!
