These are mine - and yes, even now, if I can get myself into focussing on the now, I can feel happy in the moment of drinking these in....

  • The four beautiful snowdrops that are now out in the garden
  • Our dog having a great dream, full of wuffles and twitches
  • The vaccination numbers each day - I can't believe we have now vaccinated more than 1 in 10 of the UK population! Phenomenal
  • Good food... yup, sitting down and eating something I enjoy like scrambled eggs or a bowl of good soup makes me feel so much better... and even cherished

I second (or maybe third?) the vitamin d. I’m taking 4000 erm ius or something every day and my joints hurt a LOT less and I’ve got more energy and apparently it may help if you get Covid so well worth it. A years supply cost me about a tenner on amazon

Going to get some omega
Oil supplements too as I have a lot of symptoms that tick the box for a deficiency there

Daffodils poking through the soil in the pots

Walk in the snow yesterday (will be ice & slush today)

This one IS going to sound daft, but it honestly made me feel happy last night. I still have my Christmas Decorations up (yes I know, but they make me happy & no one visiting, so...). I have a dog on a sled & he rocks back & forth & sings 'jingle bell rock' I put him on at night as I'm turning the tree lights off etc & he's barely been rocking & the jingle has been glitching. I put another set of new batteries in a week or so ago, but not a great improvement so I thought he was on his way out, it made me quite sad (yes I'm wet I know). Last night I put a brand new set of batteries in & the jingle was perfect and he rocked himself silly it made me laugh & stupidly happy. I'm a sentimental soft twat at the best of times, but I think this whole situation is getting to me more than I realised. (Ok you can all laugh now)

Taking our 3 year old for walks on the (local!) beach, listening to him shriek and laugh.

Watching him learn to read.

Our baby girl's constant cheeky grins.

Watching them both laugh in their sleep.
